💫Highlights from New Year’s Eve at EPCOT 🎉
We made memories that will last a lifetime and I’m sure we will be back to enjoy the festivities in the future!

🍽️ Started the day with Mickey waffles!

⚡️ We successfully used our Lightning Lanes Multipass to bypass the long lines for the attractions!

🇲🇽 Ate delicious tacos while overlooking the water in the Mexico pavilion.

🇬🇧 Witnessed the UK cast members celebrated the New Year at 7pm our time.

🇯🇵 We had a fabulous hibachi dinner at Teppan Edo in the Japan Pavilion.

🎧 Attended our first silent disco. We had a blast and it was so entertaining watching others sing and dance!

🇨🇳 The China pavilion had a DJ and a giant dragon shooting fog over the dance floor.

🇮🇹 Italy had a techno DJ blasting music.

⏰ We found a great spot behind Spaceship Earth to watch the fireworks and rang in the New Year 🎉

🎢 We ended the night with a ride on Guardians of the Galaxy!

😴 We didn’t make it back to the hotel until 1:45 am! What a great day!!!

⏰ We stayed out too late and my head hit the pillow before I could post yesterday’s highlights from the Magic Kingdom.

💎 We rope dropped Seven Dwarfs Mine Train.

💫 Came around the castle walls and to our surprise, Cinderella’s coach was there!

⛰️ We were lucky to ride my FAVORITE RIDE, Big Thunder Mountain, twice before it closes for a long refurbishment in 2025.

🎄We saw the Very Merry Christmas Parade twice! ✏️ And we saw the one and only Tally!!

🥪 Ate lunch at the Plaza Restaurant and enjoyed the club sandwich and hot fudge sundae.

🪕Rode the raft to Tom Sawyer’s Island and managed to cross the barrel bridge without making a fool of myself! This attraction will be closing soon to make way for the new Cars Land

💦 We were lucky to snag a Lightning Lane for Tiana’s Bayou Adbenture AND a virtual queue which let us ride once during the day and then again when it was lit up so beautifully at night.

🧨 The Fantasy in the Sky Fireworks show is only available during the NYE festivities, and we are so happy we found a cozy spot behind the castle. Fireworks are launched 360 degrees around the park- we were literally in the middle of them all!! So awesome!

🎉 After the first fireworks show, the park music was replaced with DJs pumping dance music. And there were special appearances from characters to join the party!

Highlights from Day 2-EPCOT

⏰ Rope dropped and closed the night on Soarin’

🎄 Enjoyed the Fesitval of the Holidays at Living with the Land and around the World Showcase

💫 Finally met Figment!!

💦 Played in the interactive walk through exhibit, The Journey of Water.

🍻 Ate a delicious meal at the Biergarten- the Mac and cheese was sooo gooey!!! 🧀

🕯️ Loved the Candlelight Processional narrated by Jodi Benson (the voice of Ariel!)

💫 One perk of staying at a Disney resort is early park entry. Guests staying on Disney property can enter the theme parks 30 minutes before official park opening. This gives YOU an advantage to ride the more popular rides first!

💫 Highlights from our first day:

🏈 We checked into All Star Sports resort and had a welcome message waiting for us on our tv.

🍦 We ate at Beaches and Cream for the first time and we will definitely return! Thank you to the Lamplight Travel LLC for their excellent recommendation for the French Dip and tots!

🎄 Then we made our way to visit the resorts with gingerbread displays. The Beach Club had a carousel, The Grand Floridian had a life-size gingerbread house, and the Contemporary Resort had a gingerbread castle. All were beautiful and it’s hard to comprehend how the talented Disney chefs make these works of art out of gingerbread!

🏝️ We walked the recently reopened path from the Polynesian Village Resort to the Grand Floridian and got a peek of the gorgeous new Island Tower Resort. It was so calm at sunset and really transports you to the islands!

😴 Now for some much needed sleep so we can rope drop in the morning!
