People often ask me “why use a travel agent when I can book it myself?”.
Aside from the standard things like having an expert (with countless hours of training and years of experience) advise you on your vacation to make it customized to your family’s needs, booking dining reservations or magical extras in the early morning hours so you don’t have to, having someone who keeps up to date with new offerings in the parks and resorts (Disney is constantly changing!) and so much more - the biggest reason I can tell you is exactly what I’ve been doing the past couple of days. Having somebody who has your back.
With Hurricane Milton quickly approaching Florida and increasing in intensity, I have spent hours on the phone with Disney get clients trips moved to new dates, refunds for those who aren’t able to rebook, getting refunds or credit for other things like party tickets, Lightning lane and even transportation to and from the airport. The phone lines are hours long - for every one of my clients who needed to unexpectedly change plans just a couple days before or even that same day I was able to do that for them and I couldn’t be more grateful I could be of help to them in such a terrible situation.
We do what we do because we love our jobs; and we love our clients! Their safety and satisfaction is always my number one priority, and I’m glad I can help.
