Sedona got a little bit of showers yesterday. Just enough to freshen up the air, and get the soil damp.
Trails conditions will be very enjoyable today.

Spring is back! Trails are dry. Mid 70’s temperatures today.
Town is busy, spread the crowd. Remember only hikers are allowed in the wilderness area, exploring those trails allows to avoid multi use conflict on other trails.
Keep hydrated, bring snacks and stay within your fitness limits.

We are back in dry conditions. Still lower temperatures than usual, in low 50’s at the peak of the day.
Watch for icy spots on the higher elevation trails in the morning.

The storm has past and the sun is out today. It’s going to stay chilly all day, but the trails are in great condition. Higher elevation will have more moisture, and will be a bit muddy.
The bike festival is still going on, so if you are hiking, favor the wilderness trails, to be free of bikers.

Moody sky yesterday. Sedona got some rain shower all afternoon.
The soil soaks it in really fast, and most trails will be in ideal condition this early morning. Temperatures have dropped into the 40’s. Watch for icy spots, and wet slick rocks.
More rain is coming mid day, and we can expect more saturation from that second storm if it last longer.

This week returns to more springlike temperatures, with minimal overnight freeze. The trails are in good condition, sun is out. Spread the crowd, as the mtb festival is coming. It is a good time to explore trails you don’t know.

This morning is going to be every photographer’s dream! The snow covered red rocks are so pretty. With the sunlight hitting them today, it won’t last long.
The trails will be frozen this morning, and expect them to get sloppy by the end of the day.
Respect the mid policy, if you leave a deep track, please turn back.

This is the kind of tracks that are too deep to go! The precipitation from yesterday and overnight brought a lot of humidity in the soil. The trails will need some time before they can accept traffic without damage. Please respect the area and the work the community put in the trails, so you can enjoy them when they are ready.

We are finally getting some rain. This week we have seen powerful thunderstorms in the afternoon.
Check fires cast before heading out too far. Be careful with flash flood.

Unfortunately it is Fire season. The desert is extremely dry, the monsoon will be starting and can trigger wild fires. If you are out on the trails or camping, please be extremely mindful of your action. Very little can start a fire like those.

Morning activities are best. Stay hydrated!

Quick update. Not too much happening. Days are longer, temperature still down for the season. The trails are really dry and dusty. We hope everyone is enjoying the nice weather out there. Keep hydrated. Spread the crowds.

The sun has been out. Most lower trails dryied out And are good to go. Some north facing/shady trails are still damp, specially in the morning. With the help of wind and higher temperature, everything will be in great condition for the next few days. Please respect the trails, turn back if you are leaving big tracks.

More snow overnight. It is a pretty dry powder, but give it more time again today. Some lower trails in Carroll canyon are will likely be good this afternoon

We may get more moisture overnight, but it shouldn’t saturate the trails.

The storm rolled in. The air is cooler and we got a lot of moisture the past couple days. Trails are getting saturated, and it will take some time and the sun to dry out. We re expecting some lower trails be open mid day tomorrow. Please respect them, and turn back if you are leaving big tracks.

The wind picked up today. It will blow strong the next couple days, bringing a cold front and possible precipitations late this week. Plan your activity accordingly and look for trails with good cover. Remember to share trails between all users, and explore options to spread the use. Enjoy the outside!

We got rain overnight, and it stopped now. The trail were extremely dry, and will soak the moisture really fast. Most lower trails will be in great conditions in a couple hours. Give the higher trails more time, and watch for the wet washes. Enjoy the outside!

We are looking at some fall temperatures this week, dropping back in the 30’s overnight. It will make some cool mornings, but nice during the day. Please share the trails with other users, the end of the week will get busy. There are 250 miles of trails to spread the use. Enjoy the outside!

It didn’t rain as much as planned, didn’t snow either, and the temps are going up already. Trails are going to be in perfect condition. Creek will have a little bit of water, but everything will run great. If you encounter puddles, please ride slowly through them. Enjoy the outside!

The rain stoped late yesterday. Trails are already pretty dry. Watch for creeks and washes as they are still flowing. Give it some time this morning, and everything will be in great condition.

The conditions were very dry, so it will soak up the moisture rapidly. We don’t recommend trail acces today, but tomorrow will be perfect!

We re in April for another nice spring day. Temperature are higher. Creeks are running lower and easier to cross. Please access trails moderately. Remain cautious with interatctions and maintain healthy distances. Try to spread the crowd, and Ride safely. Avoid overloading trailheads. Ride or hike from home if you can. Arizona has a lot of land and trails to explore. It is a good time to go away from the most popular area. Go explore!

Hero dirt on lot of trails tho. Get outside and enjoy it.

The temps went down overnight.The trails are saturated and will take time to dry out. We are in a freeze/thaw cycle. Go ride early, or later in the day. Be patient today.
