Arrived yesterday in Calgary, Canada last night for an amazing journey on Rocky Mountainner train through the Canadian Rockies. Checkedbinto the Delta downtown hotel which is lovely. CALGARY HAS ONE OF THE LARGEST stampede rodeos every summer bringing over 1 million tourists to this city. Looking forward to this trip and will do daily updates.
Before I begin my next adventure today, wanted to share an all inclusive I visited that is a great budget family option. Bahia Principe Grand Tulum. Comes in with great pricing.
PROS: Clean, spacious, always enough chairs at pool and beach, quiet pool has Bali beds for free, drink stations near every pool, most rooms have a great view, buffet food wasbthe best I've ever had, kids activities are phenomenal. Buffet has tables accommodating 12, evening entertainment
CONS: Only 1 specialty restaurant for every 2 nights stay, lots of walking. Overall this is a great choice for those that want to take a family and not spend too much money. Enjoy the pics.

Cruise Food. NCL has great food with lots of options. Specialty Dining is well worth it, I ate at the Italian restaurant and I was not disappointed.
What is it like on a cruise with stormy weather?
I personally love the sea bands for seasickness, there are lots of options from natural, ginger gum, candy to dramamine (non-drowsy) and patches. If you get sea sick, I can recommend the best cabin location for you and I always recommend a balcony so you get the fresh air and can look at the horizon which is very helpful.
Back home from a very nice 2 day cruise on the Norwegian Viva. Weather didn't quite cooperate but the ship handled it very well. Many dining areas to choose from, their theater is amazing as is the entertainment.
Loved my balcony room, very spacious, really nice outdoor chairs.

Starting my day at the swanky Delta Lounge before embarking on a work cruise. Whenever I fly in for a cruise, I always suggest arriving 1-2 days early. Tomorrow, I'll be hopping aboard the latest NCL Viva cruise with around 800 travel advisors, as we sail the Viva from Miami to San Juan. Join me as I delve into all the exciting details about this impressive new ship.
Why should you use a travel agent you ask? There are many reasons but....clients going on a river cruise in Europe, flight left on time but unfortunately they had a major medical emergency 1 hour into the flight resulting in a return to their original airport. That put them 4 hours behind and would have them miss their connecting flight.
I keep my phone on while a client is traveling, told them to sit tight and enjoy their flight, I would work on their next flight. So after 10:30 pm I was able to place 2 flights on hold for them so they had options, wanted to make sure they had enough time to get through customs.
Got a text from the clients that they are on the earlier flight and then at 6 am I made sure their transfers were aware of their new flight information.
Things happen, flights are crazy right now. Glad I could help them and give them my service. I truly love my job and love helping others.

Yesterday was our travel day home sadly. Had a great breakfast and was taken back to the airport.
We chose to add Club Mobay at the last minute, and man am I glad we did. You are expedited thru security then go to a lounge with nice chairs, lots of food and free drinks. So glad I got to experience this for myself.
We were totally blessed to be upgraded to First Class on all flights which really made for a more comfortable travel days.
Sandals really is special, there is just something about it that makes it superb.

Last full day in Jamaica. We stayed 6 nights but I consider 2 as travel days. Today was all about the ocean. Found our lounge chairs in the shade but spent most of the day in the water and sun. It was the most beautiful day of all.
We enjoyed a couples massage in the afternoon, had a great beach lunch and had my favorite drink - the Creamsicle. Sadly ended the evening packing.
Day 4. Lay in the shade, swim in a lovely quiet pool , eat/drink repeat. That pretty much sums up our day. We also watched a wedding from our balcony and ate at Butchers. So good.
Filet Mignon was perfection and this W***y Wonka Creme Brulee was the bomb. Chocolate on the bottom, custard, crystallized sugar on top, then topped with toasted marshmallow more chocolate and caramel corn.
DAY 3 at the resort. We did the glass bottom boat today and saw some awesome Coral and a few fish.
Then we took the dragon boat to the island and enjoyed their pool to ourselves, had great conversations with the bartender Donald and ate lunch at the Jerk shack. Yummo. Made it back to our room just in time for a thunderstorms to roll in.
Then back to the Island for the Thai restaurant.

Day 2. Site inspection at Sandals Montego Bay. Larger resort, a bit more lively, nicer and longer beach. An actual church on site and an over water church for weddings. 12 restaurants and a pastry shop including Crepes. Did someone say Crepes.
Back to our resort for dinner at Bombay - Indian cuisine which was fantastic and a little jazz entertainment in the evening.
First full day. Had room service breakfast on our patio then off to my site inspection. This resort has so much to offer within its small footprint.
The pools are on the smaller size yet they never seemed crowded. The ocean is calm due to a natural barrier reef and gorgeous with a view of those over water bungalows. Many different room categories to choose from & we were able to see the over water bungalow villa. Oh my, stunningly beautiful. Definitely considering booking this for ourselves.
After lunch we changed rooms to the ocean front which has a great view. Dinner at the French restaurant was yummy and entertaining.

Let's talk travel days. They can be exhausting, right. Waking up in the middle
of the night to get on an early morning flight, layovers and delays (very common). Boarding, deplaning etc...immigration, finding your transfer.
Know ahead of time that this day will be exhausting and it's perfectly OK to order room service, go to bed early and relax. Tomorrow will be better, I promise. As your travel agent I will help you navigate the how to's as much as I can.
We were thankful for the Sandals lounge upon arrival where we were completely taken care of, snacks, drinks, luggage handling and transfers. Felt pampered from that point on.
Only time I think it's OK to get up at 3 am. On our way to Jamaica. I will be staying at Sandals Royal Caribbean and doing site inspections at our resort and Sandals Montego Bay.
Looking forward to seeing their over the water bungalows. Many more pictures to come.
4 clients are boarding the Royal Caribbean Quantum of the Seas today for a 7 night Alaska Glacier Cruise. With stops at Sitka, Icy Straight, Juneau &Victoria, BC and cruising the Endicot Arm and Dawes Glacier they will have much to see.

Day 6, last day here. 😠did a site inspection, saw all their room categories and their rooftop pool/private area for preferred guests. I was also able to tour their new Secrets Impressions which is on thos property and will be opening Dec. 1. Impressions is an endless luxury property. Checked out the beach, hung out in the pools again. They had Mexican night set up in the evening where we could "visit" 10 different states from Mexico, try different foods, cocktails and shop.
Absolutely loving Secrets Moxche.
Day 4. Leaving Holbox and onto our next resort. Secrets Moxche. Absolutely stunning and beautiful. The lagoon, infinity and activity pool are in the middle of the resort leading to the beach. We had dinner at the Italian restaurant which was delicious then we went to their boogie show of disco music.
Day 3. Holbox is truly magical. Had a yummy breakfast at the rooftop restaurant. took a taxi to Mosquito beach which was absolutely amazing. It has a sandbar that goes for over a mile, soft white sand, water and sun all day long. Walked the beach to a yummy restaurant with the most beautiful views. Then back to our hotel with more pool and sun time. Took in a beautiful sunset then room service. Perfect day in paradise.
