Throwback ~ that time a tourist booked a custom tour for her birthday - inviting her friends and family - and we had papel picados made and hung outside her hotel suite wishing her a "feliz cumpleanos".

The Rockefeller Chapel at the University of Chicago designed by architect Bertram Grosvenor Goodhue and completed in 1928. Built of Indiana Limestone, its iconic tower is 207 feet tall.

Here is a springtime view of the Mildred B. Cooper Memorial Chapel in Bella Vista Arkansas.
The family of Mildred B. Cooper commissioned architect E. Fay Jones to design this light-filled 50 foot tall glass and steel chapel in her honor. It was completed in 1988 and is now open to guests for meditation, contemplation, and private events.
This is often one of our stops while in Northwest Arkansas.

Located in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, this is one of the belltowers of the Parroquia de San Miguel Arcángel. Though the Parroquia was originally built in the 16th century, it has been redesigned and rebuilt many times over the years. The current facade, constructed in 1880's of locally sourced pink cantera stone, was designed by Zeferino Gutiérrez, an indigenous stonemason.

Thanks for the review Mark:
I went on my first trip with Camiba a few months ago, to San Miguel. I had a great time. So much so, that I’ve signed up to go to Peru with them this year. Looking forward to it. Troy and Rene are fantastic! I highly recommend them. The best part is that all the details of the trip are handled by them. You just show up and they do the rest.
