Hi, Everyone! Today I'd like to share a bit about my job, how I work, and some of how the travel industry works for those not familiar with it.
I am an independent contractor, working from home with Travel Best Bets as my host agency. I pay a small monthly fee, plus a share of my commission to them. In return I get extensive support, training, management, use of the infrastructure (booking platforms, marketing, accounting) and a fantastic Connected Agent Community.
I am paid solely by commission, which is only paid out by tour operators or cruise lines once travelers have completed their trip. A booking fee of $50 is added to each booking to compensate for time spent on research or other services. Those services might include putting together a package for you, rebooking a canceled flight, finding the entry requirements for your destination and so on.
Contacting me is easy! The planning starts with that first enquiry! I have email, toll free phone, Facebook Messenger and Instagram. That info is on each of my posts. Those posts, of great deals from Travel Best Bets, are provided by Head Office for me to share with you!
Pricing on the ads I post is usually out of Vancouver, in Canadian dollars (unless otherwise specified) and "from," meaning that is the lowest price found for that trip within that date range. Other dates, departure cities and resorts or room categories may be available at a higher price.
I am licensed to sell travel insurance from Manulife and strongly urge you to buy it. We offer comprehensive "bundles" to annual plans to simple emergency medical. Don't risk the cost of your trip or huge medical bills to save a few dollars!
To close, here is my best advice: book early to make sure you get what you want! Savings with last minute travel is a thing of the past, with most popular vacations selling out. Happy Travels!
