The Consulate General for Jamaica recently update the requirements for Jamaica entry on their website.
Basic requirements for travel are:
Visitors are required to be in possession of a national passport or other acceptable travel document establishing nationality and identity and bearing a photograph. The passport or other travel document must be valid for the period of intended stay in the island. Visitors are also required to show evidence of sufficient funds to support themselves during their stay and be in possession of a return or round-trip ticket to another country to which they are admissible.

She died while on vacation in Los Cabo, Mexico 😢. As a travel advisor, we plan tons of group vacations for our clients and I just ask that you all be safe.

Here are a few tips for future travelers ❤️

❤️ Please know who you are traveling with.
❤️ Please keep your location on so your family can locate you at all times.
❤️ Keep your phone charged.
❤️ Always use the resort transportation or legit transportation companies.
❤️ Tell your family and/or parents everyone that’s traveling with you so they will know who to look for if something goes wrong.
❤️ Please try your best to stay at resorts and around crowds while traveling out of the country vs. staying at homes and/or villas.
❤️ Please limit the Alcohol if you drink so you can be aware of your surroundings.
❤️ If you think something suspicious is going on, contact someone immediately.
❤️ Follow your heart and intuition, if it don’t feel right… Don’t go!

Booking a Vacation? Here are a few insiders:

📃If you ask for a vacation quote, the deposit is due at the time of booking and locks in your price

🏝All inclusive vacations must be paid in full 45 days prior to travel (due date is provided at time of booking and no set schedule of how and when you make payments)

🛳Cruises must be paid for in full 75 days prior to travel (due date is provided at booking and no set schedule of how and when you make payments)

⌚️The later you book, the less time you have to pay on your vacation and in some cases, the full amount may be due upfront

💵Prices change DAILY, what's quoted today may be different tomorrow

📕Passport books are required on international vacations where you fly to the destination but are not required on cruises (I do suggest them though)

‼️If you are going to purchase a passport, I strongly suggest the passport book as it has no limitations on your travel. The passport card is only good for land and sea travel.

👪If you are traveling internationally with your children, they also require a passport

📌Passports issued at age 15 and under are only good for 5 years, passports issued at age 16 and older are good for 10 years
