Manchester Harbor Channel marker can #9 was found drifting this morning near Long Beach about 1/4 mile off station; the crew of work boat 1 towed it into the harbor for retrieval by the U.S. Coast Guard.

We are beyond thrilled to welcome home the newest addition to the staff of Manchester Mooring Service! 7-week-old Golden Retriever "Saylor" in the arms of her loving human dad Charlie seen here in Central Massachusetts Friday afternoon being picked up from her birth home at Sheaman Farm & Kennel in Hardwick, MA. Saylor looks forward to meeting everyone real soon and almost slept through her first night in her forever home.

The City of Beverly is updating its Hazard Mitigation Plan to help the City and the community better prepare for natural hazards, such as flooding and extreme temperatures. Local knowledge is crucial to the success of a hazard mitigation plan. We are asking the community to provide input regarding their experiences, the location of impacts from natural hazards, and what they have done at home to prepare for natural hazards.
