No visit to Parma would be complete without a visit to our friend Antonia for an afternoon of cooking, dining, and laughter. Our art workshop students put on their aprons to try their hand at the culinary arts. Antonia taught us how to make tortelli d’erbetta, a traditional dish of Parma, made with thinly rolled egg pasta stuffed with ricotta, chard, parmigiana reggiano 🧀, and a special *secret ingredient*. (Much fun was had.) The Italian kitchen worked its magic, and we all feasted like queens 🫅👸🏻 . Over dessert and digestivi teaching artist Anne Leuck led her art workshop wrap-up and students had a chance to share their sketchbook travel journals. The last event of our tour season, we couldn’t ask for a better company to celebrate with. .

A little bit of rain can’t stop our Blue Walkers..😂..⛈️🌧️..ok maybe we jumped on a bus..🚌
Our Art Walk Spain art workshop had a fun and breezy happy hour to celebrate our week together. Throughout the week, teaching artist Mary Beth Shaw (@mbshaw) has lead students in creating unique, memory-filled art journals. These beautiful souvenirs were shared all around, and everyone highlighted a page here for our video. Thanks to all our guests for a great tour. We hope to see you again soon! #artwalkspain #artworkshop #smallgrouptravel
Sea views, coastal paths, great food and drink. Welcome to the Costa Brava. We are getting warmed up for our fall season starting in Barcelona, Spain on Sunday. ❤️🇪🇸 We still have a few spaces left for our 2025 tours. Link in the bio. 😁😎
Another fabulous week with wonderful artists. Many thanks to our #teachingartist @tammygilley for all the good energy and laughter and all of our student guests who played a part. In addition to our wonderful destinations and Tammy’s inspired #mixedmediaart classes, a thing our students repeatedly mentioned was how special it was to spend a week together - traveling, laughing, and sharing with one another. We feel privileged, not only to share the joy of travel with our guests, but to be a part of building a positive, creative community. Each smiling face is a new friend, and these are the best kind of riches. Looking forward to more of the same! #gratitude #followyourdreams #artworkshop #francevacation #smallgrouptravel #womenstravel
In every walk with nature, one receives far more than she seeks. - John Muir. Would you like to get away and feel renewed? Join us for a small group vacation in Europe. It’s more than a tour.
A wonderful week with wonderful women artists. With teaching artist Karen Stamper ever the inspiring force we traveled the Côte d’Azur - painting, collecting, laughing along the way. Thanks for the fun everyone. À bientôt! ❤️🇫🇷
Sunset, smooth seas, and feet in the sand. These are a few of our favorite things. #italytravel #bluewalkitaly
Another fun day. Wait until the end. Sound on. Would you sing with us? 🎶🎵 We love our Blue Walk peeps!
We walked, rode, and floated around Mt. Pilatus today. Lots of beautiful views with good company.
Won’t you join us for lunch? 😁
Another beautiful day! We visited Cannes and Ile St Honorat with @koosjekoene and her students.
We started the day at #marcheforville, the daily open air market in Cannes. Located in the historic center, the market was a feast for the senses. Vendors selling produce, meats, cheeses, baked goods, etc. offered everything to make a most amazing picnic. So who are we to say no? After time for a quick sketch, everyone picked out something enticing to share.
We then set out on a wonderfully brief and breezy ferry ride to #ilesainthonorat. A mere 20 minutes from bustling Cannes, the car-free island sanctuary felt a world away. There, on a shady table with a view of the sea, we laid out our market bounty to reveal a gorgeous picnic feast. It is such a fun way to share a meal as well as the best locally produced food of the region. Surrounded by grape vines, olive trees, and chaparral, Koosje led a leisurely class using the many greens surrounding us as her inspiration.
