One last day of fun and relaxation at sea and now we are home. While we were sad to leave, it was the trip of a lifetime and we can’t wait to get back to both New York and another cruise in the future. Beaches, sunshine, and adventure! We maximized our ocean and sand time in Cocoa Beach, Nassau, and Coco Cay and enjoyed every second of it. We have also been continuing to explore the amazing Symphony of the Seas. We feel like we are living a dream!

We made it on to the Symphony of the Seas! She will be our home for the next 7 nights as we sail south to Florida and the Bahamas. We have already had a fantastic time exploring the ship, and absolutely nothing can beat that view!

Round #2! We started our day off with the American Natural History Museum and a visit to the butterfly vivarium there. Next we explored Central Park and were blown away with how beautiful and peaceful it was. The kids enjoyed sailing the remote controlled sail boats and we got totally drenched in a thunderstorm. We ended our time in New York with some of the best pizza I have ever had and a Yankee game. New York was not what we expected. It was bigger, cleaner, and easier to navigate than we could have ever thought. We can’t wait to go back! If you need help planning your New York trip I learned so much that I am happy to pass on. Next we start phase 2 of this epic vacation!

This day was huge! We started with the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island where we were able to find the ship manifest from when my Great Grandfather came from Sweden. Next we visited the 9/11 memorial which was far more moving than I expected it to be. After lunch at another gluten free paradise (Friedmans) we did some shopping in Rockefeller shopping. To top it all off we had another proper Italian dinner and saw the incredible musical The Lion King! We had a day to remember. My feet hurt but I am looking forward to day #2!

We made it to New York! We filled the few hours we had today with firsts: first yellow cab in NYC, first NYC subway ride, first proper Italian dinner at a dedicated GF restaurant, followed by dessert at a ridiculous dedicated GF bakery. So far, we are blown away by Manhattan and are looking forward to the next couple of days here!

One of the best parts of adding Genie+ to your Disneyland park tickets is that all the photo pass photos you take are included! That’s a great way to capture all of your memories and maybe even let your little ones feel fancy with their own photo shoots!

We made it! The new tower and rooms are absolutely gorgeous! And I will add that the new Palm Breeze Pool Bar staff and food are amazing as well. This is a great start to a magical vacation!
