After a holiday quarantine w/our family, we braved the busy holiday airports days after Christmas. The traveling gods were looking down on us favorably as neither one of our flights was canceled. We flew from Newark to Houston to Liberia (NW Costa Rica). Normally there are direct flights from NYC to Liberia (usually a 5.5hr direct flight), but on this particular day in the middle of a pandemic there were none. Today we did not have to show proof of vaccination to enter Costa Rica. Although new rules go into place on Feb 8 where travelers must prove vaccination.

We were met at the airport by our local contact Abraham of who greeted us at the airport w/cold waters & beers! He escorted us to our van for our party of ten. VIP service all day- this is how we travel! Stay tuned - We have an exciting week ahead! 🇨🇷
