Melia Cozumel in February- as they escape the winter blues for turquoise blue water! Cozumel ended up being the perfect trip this time for somewhere new, an all-inclusive where they can relax and disconnect, and also get in some scuba diving and snorkeling!

One of our favorite things to do is make the most out of a quick weekend traveling for the most random of reasons. While we were really going to Madison, Wisconsin this weekend for our favorite spoken word artist (Shane Koyczan), we were also able to squeeze in a quick 3hr visit with family and then explore a little bit of Chicago before flying back home. All of this between our flights Saturday morning and Sunday evening!

Beautiful time of year to visit and while Chicago has usually been a fly through city, it is now a place we have added to our “love” list and looking forward to exploring more the next time!

A little late….. life has been crazy as usual, but here is the final port day on our Alaskan cruise!

Day 9 Victoria, British Columbia!

A unique port day in that we did not get there until about 2pm. Loved having half a sea day though and then a little exploring and dinner in Victoria.

Such a beautiful city with a small town feel. We found this cool little pub to eat lunch, Bartholomew’s . Mimi had the best crispy rib bites, ever and I had a Toad in a Hole (2 Yorkshire puddings, shaved roast beef, gravy, whipped potato, seasonal vegetables) which was also delicious!

Then we just wondered around a little and Victoria was absolutely beautiful. We will definitely make a trip back to explore more. Knowing this was a later stop and not as much time we didn’t expect much and it was a really great way to end the trip!

We have had a crazy week and still plan one last post about our Alaska trip, but first….. We are on the same flight as some of our clients today! Not planned and so fun to chat about their upcoming cruise out of Boston and up north on a bucket list kind of trip we love! 🍂
