A bit of Disney magic is coming back. See this article for info on a phased reopening of Disney Springs beginning May 20!

A phased reopening of Disney Springs will begin on May 20. Following the guidance of government and health officials, a limited number of shopping and dining experiences that are owned by third-party operating participants will begin to open during this initial phase. The rest of Walt Disney World® Resort will remain closed, including theme parks and resort hotels.

Disney Springs will begin to reopen in a way that incorporates enhanced safety measures, including increased cleaning procedures, the use of appropriate face coverings by both Cast Members and Guests, limited-contact Guest services and additional safety training for Cast Members. During the initial opening phase, Disney Springs will have limitations on capacity, parking and operating hours.

Thanks to everyone who liked and followed my page today. While I was one day late, I thought October 1st was a perfect day to launch a page that primarily celebrates Disney travel planning. Why? Because Walt Disney World opened on Oct 1, 1971, EPCOT Center opened on Oct 1, 1982, Disney Legend Julie Andrews was born on Oct 1, 1935, and more.

Disney’s newest transportation from select resorts to Epcot and Hollywood Studios is now open!

Magic is in the air at Walt Disney World with the new Disney Skyliner transportation system, the “most magical flight on Earth.” Disney Skyliner connects Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios to four Disney resort hotels – Disney’s Art of Animation, Pop Century, Disney’s Caribbean Beach, and the forthcoming Disney’s Riviera Resort, set to open December 16th. While riding Disney Skyliner, you are treated to never-before-seen, bird’s-eye vantage points of Disney icons such as the Hollywood Tower Hotel and Spaceship Earth.
