Matthew and crew experienced the Italian classics from Venice and the Dolomites to Florence and Rome.

From Matthew: "The trip was superb in every way. We loved taking a day to drive around the Dolomites, I think that was the highlight of the trip for all of us, and the driving was a lot easier than I was expecting. We loved the cities, but we think that Venice was our favorite mainly because of how quiet it was. There were tourists there, but we often found ourselves away from the touristy places and enjoyed drinks in quiet piazzas."

The Melia family had an absolutely incredible trip to London, Edinburgh, and Dublin. They truly experienced the best of the United Kingdom, from city streets to rolling hills.

Here are some tips from Molly:

1. London:
Transportation is big throughout the city, and while easy to navigate as a younger person, I would definitely say that the tube/subway is a lot harder for elderly people because there are a lot of stairs

London the city is gorgeous and fun, but I would always recommend encouraging people to explore the cities beyond in the countryside. We thoroughly enjoyed our day going to Windsor, Stonehenge and Bath and seeing the more quintessential countryside.

Food is certainly better away from the main attractions!
We liked not being rushed by getting a train ticket at the station, but for those wanting to sit together, the seating was less flexible by getting tickets the day of.

2. Edinburgh:
I think we all underestimated how hilly this city would be - definitely difficult for older people and we needed some extra time between activities to accommodate.

We all would have stayed longer if we could - this was one of our favorite spots.
Others had recommended that we not go in the actual castle after having been in so many royal locations, but if you went only to Scotland, you might want to go inside.

3. Dublin:
If you expect a rolling hills version of Ireland - Dublin is not it! Planning a day trip or two to the other cities would definitely curb this, so glad we had our Cliffs of Moher and Galaway day!

Trinity College was AMAZING. We just got in to see the Library because it closes at the end of this year for renovation and feel so lucky to have had a tour - the college student was incredible.

William and his bride had an incredible wedding and honeymoon all across Europe. From Iceland before the wedding, the a fairytale ceremony in Oslo, to a relaxing respite in Dubrovnik, they experienced some of the most beautiful landscapes in Europe.

From William: " Iceland was beautiful; while I can’t say that riding horses in the rain after an international flight was super fun, it was memorable, and going to the lagoon after was truly an awesome experience. Seeing the volcanic island was beautiful and everyone truly enjoyed themselves. Norway was beautiful as always but taking the train from Bergen to Oslo was so much fun. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect; it didn’t rain, everyone had a good time, and we have memories that we will cherish forever. Our honeymoon was so relaxing after the very busy first part of our trip. Dubrovnik’s Old Town and the Croatian countryside are very neat. Our day trip to Montenegro was very fun and interesting to go see a new place. All of the places we stayed at were nice, although the geo-thermal heated water in Iceland does smell of rotten eggs. Transportation was easy and the organization was very helpful for everyone. My only tip for future travelers is to allow plenty of time at the Dubrovnik airport as the luggage conveyor belt kept breaking and checking in took forever."

Ashley + Matt had an incredible Mediterranean cruise on Oceania. From mosaic making in Ravenna to cruising Lake Como to biking around Uglian Island in Croatia, they had a nice mix of planned activities and spontaneity. They sampled some of the best of the Med (Italy, Greece, Croatia, Malta)

Amy + Ryan had a fairytale wedding on Lake Como at the world famous Villa Balbianello. Afterwards, they explored the beauty of the Italian + Swiss Alps, from Venice to Milan to Lake Geneva. It was an honor to be a part of making it happen!

From Amy: "100/10 experience. No issues with trains or travel between locations! Wedding and honeymoon went off with a single hitch. Food was AMAZING! I think I could live off spaghetti carbonara and cappuccinos till the day I die.

We LOVED the walking food tour in Venice. We are so much good food that by the end we could barely walk back to the hotel we were so stuffed. The tour guide was also very nice and had great history to talk about. Would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who likes food. If you have anyone who likes the Alien or Prometheus movies I’d definitely recommend going to the H.R Giger Museum and bar in Gruyère it was REALLY cool and we got some Fantastic fondue up there as well."

Kelly, Diane, and Alexa had an incredible trip to Turkey! They cruised the Bosporus in Istanbul, flew high above the Cappadocia landscape, and saw the wonders of the Mediterranean coastline. From ancient wonders to stuning landscapes, they experienced Turkey to the fullest.

Here are some tips from their trip:

"Skip the line for tours is DEFINITELY worth it. The line at most popular places (I.e blue mosque, etc) can take hours to just get a ticket then a wait to get in on top of that. The skip the line only gets you past buying a ticket. I don’t think a tour guide is necessary for those if someone’s on the fence. We did Ephesus without a tour guide, but I think that’s one were it would have been well worth the money.

I’d also add people make sure they get out cash. Unlike other European countries, The ATMs there didn’t work well with US cards. A lot of places take visa or Mastercard but there were a few additional places that didn’t take card especially when you get out of tourist areas. For instance buying photos after an excursion was typically cash only. They will take Euro, TL or USD.

Cappadocia was amazing but aside from excursions or hiking I’d limit it to 2 or 3 days tops.

Lastly, as 3 girls traveling I can say we all felt very safe traveling there if any future travelers have any concerns! "

Wow! What an adventure Elliott and Grace had in Costa Rica! They experienced a true paradise!

From Rachel: "We had a wonderful time in Italy thanks to Jeremy’s assistance!! From a tour of Tuscany with a wine-tasting experience to an an in-home pasta making class with Lake Como locals- we had the adventure of a lifetime!

We explored Rome, Florence, Lake Como, Switzerland and Venice in 9 days and enjoyed every minute of it. We highly reccomend a coliseum tour, taking a pasta making class, exploring Tuscany, visiting the Leather School in Florence for a special souvenir and getting lost in Venice!
