E un giorno ti accorgerai che non esiste più quel trambusto infantile che logora tanto; e quel caos armonico è silenzio rumoroso perché le foglie del calendario non perdonano.

Ed è all'improvviso... all'improvviso la vasca non è più un baule pieno di giocattoli, e che non ti hanno lasciato nel lavandino quella palla di gommapiuma, non ci sono bambole sul divano, né playmobils sparsi per casa...

E un giorno ti accorgerai che non ci sono corse interminabili per i corridoi,niente risate a frullate nel letto per sfidare il sonno; niente racconti da leggere, niente lenzuola da scoprire a mezzanotte, niente anime respirando sogni...

E un giorno capirai che la dispensa è piena di ricordi e che avanzano piatti a tavola; e che tutto è in ordine... senza zaini sul pavimento dell'ingresso, senza matite disordinate. Neanche quei vestiti che non entrano nel cesto e che i letti non si disfano...

E un giorno... sarai orfano dei tuoi figli cresciuti con il permesso della vita. E ti siederai sulla poltrona, con un libro che sente la mancanza di una voce innocente che lo interrompe. E ogni pagina che passi, leggila con attenzione perché quella... non torna più. È la vita.
