We now have Starlink internet! This is a major upgrade from the cell-based internet that used to be the only thing available on the island.
Now, I know that the last thing you want to do on your island vacation is work, but now you can if you MUST :) Streaming that favorite show after a day at the beach will be a breeze now too!

Conch (pronounced konk).

The critter that lives in this shell is not pretty to look at...but man the Bahamians sure now how to jazz it up and make it delicious. When you are on the island there are so many ways to try it! Conch chowder, fresh conch salad (ceviche style), cracked conch (like chicken fingers) or conch fritters dipped in a delicious sauce. Its something you don't want to miss!

P.S. If you see a pile of shells like this, you are welcome to take one! In order to get it back to the states it must be in your checked luggage.

Just got back from an hour long walk on the beach and this was my actual statement to my husband.
“The beach was the busiest I’ve ever seen it. I saw 5 people! And a dog!”
I sure love it here 😊

We’ve been busy painting the master bedroom the last couple of days. The pink is gone.
I made the quilt for the bed.
I love that you can see water from every window, the beautiful sea or the lovely pond 😊
