Park tip - Butterbeer is sold at several locations within the wizarding world. You DON’T have to wait in that insanely long line at the entrance!

If you’ve never stayed at Port Orleans French Quarter, you’re missing out! It’s all themed around Mardi Gras and of course, subtle Princess and the Frog hints throughout the grounds and room to compliment the New Orleans style. The rooms are spacious compared to your regular value resorts. The pool is huge, and also includes a splash pad and slide! You can also catch a ride on the river boat to Disney Springs. Three more weeks! 😍

I have so much to share in the coming days about Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando. It was my first time to ever attend the event and I didn’t really think it was going to be my thing. Horror is something I try to avoid most days 🤣

I was totally blown way by the scale and size of the event. The houses are beautiful with so many details in the costumes and set design. It truly feels like you are stepping into movie sets in every single house.

And while there are plenty of jump scares (particularly in the Halloween house with Michael Myers) there are far more laughs. It was such a fun and hilarious time watching friends getting spooked over and over again by whatever monster was hiding throughout the houses. Even as someone who isn’t a fan of being scared, it was an absolute blast.

I will talk more about each house in the coming days. Every single one of the 10 was amazing and full of awesome surprises. I went in to the event totally skeptical but left wanting to go back again as soon as I can.

If you are a fan of Halloween at all then there is something for you at HHN. The food and atmosphere is unmatched for a Halloween event and the price point (starting at $73 per person) provides great value.

I’m so glad I was able to attend this year and can’t wait for next time!

Should you take your baby to Disney World?

My plan was to make all sorts of helpful videos on how to make your trip easier with an infant. But the truth is, I didn’t have time! Taking your new baby is a lot of work, but if you are prepared… it is THE BEST! So my answer is YES… take that baby!

Tip #1 is to bring a carrier for those times you have to park your stroller. Asher doesn’t usually like being in it, but with the constant movement and things to see… he was GREAT.
