✨Starting this Fall (exact dates TBD), a brand new complimentary planning tool (“Disney Genie”) will be added to The My Disney Experience App to enhance the plans that your Magical Travelers Vacation Planner has set up for you pre-arrival. Together with The Genie, your travel advisor will be ready to grant all of your travel WISHES before, during, and after your stay! Need to make any changes, check wait times, mobile order, etc… Disney Genie and your travel advisor will be there to help right at your finger tips!
‼️Mover over FastPass+, ⚡️Lightning Lane⚡️ is the NEW and improved high speed access to your favorite attractions! This additional feature will be available for purchase through the Genie+ Service including audio experiences and PhotoPass extras to enhance the MAGIC throughout each day of your vacation!
🤯These new features are aimed at assisting you in making the most of each day on Disney property, but like anything new, we know our guests will have questions and concerns 😬… yet…Never fear! Big news today from Disney!!!

At Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, July 1 marks the start of nightly fireworks performances at Magic Kingdom Park and EPCOT. “Happily Ever After” will transform Cinderella Castle with lights, projections and pyrotechnics, as moments from favorite Disney stories encourage Guests to grab hold of their dreams and make them come true. And as part of the ongoing transformation of EPCOT, “EPCOT Forever” will produce a spectacle of fireworks, music and lighting effects over World Showcase Lagoon, highlighting the themes of innovation, exploration, imagination and celebration at the core of the park’s past, present and future.

As Disneyland Park in California welcomes back all guests, the fun starts July 4 with “Mickey’s Mix Magic” presented nightly throughout the summer. State-of-the-art projections, show lighting and lasers will transform Main Street, U.S.A., Sleeping Beauty Castle and the façade of “it’s a small world” into a dazzling, family fun dance party that goes sky high with fireworks to celebrate the leader of the club, Mickey Mouse.

✨Disney’s BRAND NEW Park Pass Reservation system launched this morning and it’s “a whole new world”. 😂.... Of course, with any new technology, there are bound to be glitches and website issues on day 1. However, we want you to know, you are not alone!

Even though Travel Advisors are not legally allowed to make your park reservations (due to the COVID-19 terms and conditions waiver), we want you to know that we are on standby to provide as much guidance and assistance (or comic relief), as possible.

We WILL get through this together, so please lean on us as needed !!

✨Late Breaking **UPDATE** coming from The Walt Disney World Resort. Here is the latest scoop!

"We know many of you are excited to return to the magic and make new memories with your family, friends and loved ones.
As we take these next steps forward, we are introducing enhanced health and safety measures reflecting guidance from health authorities and appropriate government agencies."

The following Disney Vacation experiences have been temporarily modified to ensure safe social distancing while visiting parks and resorts.

🚫 Disney Dining Plan and existing Dining Plans cancelled and refunded through the end of the year for current bookings.

🚫 All current dining reservations will be cancelled.

🚫 Future dining reservations will be made at 60 days (instead of 180).

🚫 All current reservations for special experiences will be cancelled. These will also eventually be able to be re-booked at a 60 day window (vs. 180 day).

🚫 𝗙𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗣𝗮𝘀𝘀+ this will allow use of all available queue space to adhere to social distancing recommendations

🚫 𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗿𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗰 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀

✨MORE INFO from The Disney Parks Blog:

Pending Orange County and state approval, our Walt Disney World Resort proposal plans for Magic Kingdom Park and Disney’s Animal Kingdom to begin a phased reopening to the general public on July 11, followed by EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios on July 15. In preparing to reopen during this unusual time, we have to manage our theme parks in a very different way from what we’ve known before. As we begin to reach out to our cast members and call them back to work, they will be focused on operating our parks in a responsible way that continues to give our guests opportunities to create magical Disney memories.

This phased reopening will demonstrate a deliberate approach, with limits on attendance and controlled guest density that aligns with guidance on physical distancing. That means certain experiences we know draw large group gatherings – such as parades and nighttime spectaculars – will return at a later date. In addition, “high-touch” experiences such as makeover opportunities, playgrounds and character meet and greets will remain temporarily unavailable, but characters will still be in our parks to entertain and delight our guests.

Because theme park capacity will be significantly limited as we welcome guests back to the magic, we will manage attendance through a new theme park reservation system that will require all guests to obtain a reservation for park entry in advance. At this time, we are temporarily pausing new ticket sales and Disney Resort hotel reservations so we can focus on guests with existing tickets and reservations (Disney Vacation Club members can still make new reservations). Existing ticket holders and Annual Passholders will be able to make reservation requests in phases before new tickets are sold; we’ll be reaching out to these guests soon to provide additional details. We will resume new ticket sales and hotel reservations after that period of time. Theme park reservations will be limited due to attendance limitations and will be subject to availability. More details about this new reservation system will be available soon.

🎢 Epcot and Hollywood Studios will reopen JULY 15th
📲 LOTS of details will be forthcoming regarding theme park “pre-arrival reservations”, safety protocols, and modified guest experiences.
