Meet our staff!! Wes Heavner has joined our staff to help lead our custom trips! Wes is also the Area Director for Henderson County Young Life. is a Christian outreach ministry focused towards High School students. Wes has worked with Young Life for 10 years, both as a volunteer and now staff. This includes building relationships with High School students, leading Bible studies, and training volunteers to do relational ministry.
Wes enjoys coaching and playing different types of sports, fishing, drinking coffee all day long, staying up late and spending time outside with his wife, Madison and black lab, May.

Serve + Surf Adventure day! Our group had a blast serving at a local church’s thrift shop and spent the rest of the afternoon surfing. 🤙🌊🏄♀️

It’s hard to express the beauty of the Napali coast! Our group enjoyed fantastic views all day long aboard a catamaran. The girls snorkeled, swam and saw several pods of dolphins! 🌊🐠🌺
There’s just nothing like the Waimea Canyon in Kauai. Our group enjoyed exploring all the canyon had to offer with breathtaking views of the mountains + ocean. 🌊☀️🌴

MEET YOUR TRIP LEADER✨ Say HELLO to Carol, who will be working as support staff in Hawaii this summer!! Carol grew up in the North Georgia Mountains where she spent her childhood going to summer camp. Some of her fondest memories growing up were hiking and camping with her family.
She is currently attending the University of North Georgia and is working as a river guide for Appalachian Outfitters.
Carol is a former Created for Adventure camper and went to Hawaii herself a few summers ago! As a camper, she fell in love with the concept of growing your relationship with God while exploring His creation. Carol is so excited for the opportunity to return to Hawaii as support staff!
She said she is looking forward to “building relationships with the girls to help connect with them on a deeper level!”
We just LOVED receiving this message from a camper that went our Kauai adventure last summer! She had such a great experience that she and her family went back to Kauai for their spring break!! 💛
We can’t wait for our summer adventures to begin. We still have space on our all girls, Kauai June session!

MEET YOUR TRIP LEADER✨ Say HELLO to Sarah, who will be leading our Teton Expedition this summer!! Sarah is a student at Young Harris College and is majoring in Outdoor Studies. She grew up attending Camp Glisson in Dahlonega, Georgia and worked there for 3 summers. Sarah worked as a counselor and led backpacking and kayaking trips.
Some of her favorite things to do outside are kayaking, hiking, and playing pickleball and tennis. Her favorite experience outdoors was hiking in the redwood forest.
She loves being in the outdoors and helping to bring others to Jesus by showing how they can experience God in his creation.

MEET YOUR TRIP LEADER✨ Welcome back James!! James is returning as a Trip Leader and will be leading our Teton Expeditions this summer!
James is a retired camp director who served for 28 years as a full-time camp director for non-profit camps. These camps include Camp Tekoa in North Carolina and High Peak Camp in Estes Park, Colorado. Originally from North Carolina, James now resides with his family in Estes Park, CO.
In his free time, James loves spending time with his family in the beautiful Rocky Mountains. During his part-time retirement work, he serves as a lifeguard at the local recreation center and drives an activity bus for the Estes Park Schools.
He also enjoys hiking, running, swimming, and quality time around the campfire. His favorite saying to campers and staff is, "This is the day the Lord hath made; let us rejoice and have fun in it!"
MEET YOUR TRIP LEADER✨ Welcome back Emily!! Emily is returning for her second summer as a Trip Leader in Hawaii with us! Emily is a speech therapist currently living in Alaska. She has backpacked, kayaked, and hiked her way across as many national parks as she can, as well as other countries, including Italy, Norway, and Canada.
Emily also has a heart for ministry in the great outdoors, growing up going to summer camp in North Georgia, serving as a camp counselor for multiple years and on various mission trips in the U.S., as well as in Nicaragua and Peru.
She loves adventure and discipleship and shared that she is "honored to have the opportunity to help provide a faith-based, nurturing environment for young people to explore the world around them and grow in their relationships with God and experience the breath-taking wonder of His creation in new ways."
Some of her other passions in life include running, reading, playing the guitar and French horn, and finding the joy in life.
Here’s to genuine friendships that are formed every summer on our adventure trips!! We can’t wait to be together again soon.
