We specialize in custom Oregon Wine Tours for couples and small groups that know each other up to 8 people. We have developed a variety of tours to choose from, giving you the flexibility in deciding the best experience to suit your needs

We maintain clean and sanitized vehicles and have implemented safety protocols for ourselves and all our guests through the guidance of the Oregon State’s Health Authority and the CDC. We often receive a common question from our touring guests: "Are all Pinot grapes handpicked in The Willamette Valley?"

Here's my general response (Would love your feedback and thoughts!):

Not all grapes are, but a huge majority of Pinot Noir grapes are picked by hand. While mechanical methods can enhance efficiency in large vineyards with thick-skinned grapes, Oregon's small lot production size vineyards (5 to 40 acres) and because of the delicate nature of Pinot Noir skin, make mechanical harvesting less suitable. Prioritizing the highest fruit quality takes precedence over speed to the fermentor. Until mechanical methods can guarantee highest quality, the trust in using human touch persists.

Janis engaged local expertise and thoughtfully began to plant Pinot noir, Gamay noir, and Chardonnay, culminating in 20 acres under vine. She named the vineyard for her mother, Arlyn, and the lessons of hard work and kept promises. A beautiful spot to taste wine and enjoy the farm animals that occupy the beautiful property.

We started a wine touring company with the idea we would dedicate and design wine tours around couples and small groups that know each other. Six years later we’re still doing successfully the same thing. We have no limos or busses, and you will not be carted around you don’t know. We are your tour guides and we are dedicated to making your day with us remarkable. Your tour will always be about what you want and specific to your desires. If you have special needs or concerns, please let us know. At Cellar Door Wine Tours there are no problems too big or too small to consider. We like making things happen for what our guests want. Your agenda is our agenda. We have 4 different wine tour options available:
