Thanks Renegaders for all the questions about our recent post about a new offering -- Renegade Automation & Modification Program -- or what we are calling AMP for short! There are some questions as to what this new offering is about and some confusion as to how it is different than Renegade Boot Camp. So, let me try and differentiate the two:

Renegade Automation & Modification Program (AMP)
This is a three-day, hands-on, small group program where you will be able to: 1.) purchase at a discount some of the most popular and useful modifications to our Renegades, 2.) learn how to install these modifications yourself on your own coach -- but with instructions and lots of support, 3.) save some labor costs by doing these yourself, but again, with help, and 4.) build community with other Renegade owners at the same time!

Here's a list of modifications available to choose from:
- Micro-Air Easy Starts
- Dump Master Electric Dump Valves
- See LeveL Gauges
- Ex-Guard Cattle Guards
- Pinnacle Cab Seating
- Bluefire Diagnostic Tool
- Aqua-Hot Bypass (for AH 450 and 600)

Registration is now open for an AMP scheduled for March 4-8, 2024 in Mesquite, NV.

Renegade Boot Camp
This is an intensive 3-day program to train owners on Renegade RV systems and chassis. Through both classroom and hands-on training, we will go through RV systems use, maintenance, pre-trip check lists, common issues, and trouble-shooting to enhance the RV owner experience.

Topics covered include:

• Tires & tire pressure
• Firefly
• Garmin
• Electrical-AC/DC
• Generator
• Plumbing
• Levelers
• Heating/Cooling
• Slide maintenance
• Roof maintenance
• Towing
• Driving techniques

Currently, there are 4 Boot Camp sessions scheduled that are sold out, but we are taking waitlist names and planning on adding more sessions.

Jeff's Tips & Tricks:
We learned this from another Renegader a while back, but Jeff hates ladders and feels much, much safer when he uses these suction cup handles and ratchet straps to secure the ladder. Used it a lot this past week and wanted to share it again.

We stopped making our air brake safety solution recently because Jeff's new 3D printer didn't allow us to easily from the material we use for those to the material we use for hatch covers. I had to tell a Renegader that we couldn't make her one and I don't like to disappoint anyone. So, I just casually asked Jeff if there was any way we could re-engineer it to use the same materials as the hatch covers. He didn't answer me and I thought he was busy reading emails. I came back 5 minutes later and asked again and he told me that the prototype was just starting on the printer. The man designed and programmed a new product...in just FIVE MINUTES!!! And I actually like this design even better than the first one! That man's brain is amazing!!!

We are continuing our "co-pilot empowerment" efforts by including RV driving instruction through a partnership with RV Driving School at all Renegade Life Rallies and Boot Camps! And they are willing to actually extend the discounted rally rate to those who want to take instruction outside of rallies in their own areas as well. We have had amazing feedback from the students who have participated!

We just got an email from Renegader Mark Iannettoni who shared that he was very appreciative of the driving class for his wife Ann. Mark said, "Ann is very excited and I am very proud of her as she drove the last 80 miles of highway, city and country roads."

Way to be empowered, Ann!

You Renegaders did it again! You sold the GA-24 rally out in less than 8 minutes! We are so excited that there is that much enthusiasm!

We will be taking 70 names for a waitlist, but any requests to be added must be sent to [email protected] with name, email, and phone number. We will NOT add anyone from any other FB post or message. We want a date/time stamp to be as fair as possible.

Jeff's Hints & Hacks:

We noticed a little bit of moisture around the base of the bed. We tracked it down to this water pump filter. The glass bowl on the bottom had come loose and was just dripping water. I replaced this filter a couple years ago. Worth checking for moisture around the water tanks every once in a while to make sure a fitting or this filter hasn’t come loose.
