Moroccan Passage Princess
“Casablanca, Morocco: For many, the word Casablanca conjures up Hollywood's vision of an exotic city of intrigue. But the reality is far removed from film fantasy, more complex and fascinating. Casablanca is Morocco's largest city, the busiest port in North Africa, and home to nearly four million people. An important trading center since the days of the Phoenicians, Casablanca is an evocative blend of more new than old, more familiar than exotic. It is a modern commercial city with an old heart that is home to narrow, cobbled alleys, bazaars and souks, minarets, and medinas. Casablanca is a modern city with beaches bordering the Atlantic and broad, tree-lined avenues. The city is also your gateway to Morocco's interior and the exotic "Imperial Cities" of Rabat and Marrakech.” #travel #morocco #vacatiom #cruise

San Francisco, California: Cable cars, the Golden Gate rising from the fog - welcome to San Francisco, arguably the most romantic and cosmopolitan city in the United States. San Francisco has it all: a colorful history, superb restaurants, sophisticated museums, world-class shopping, and that elusive air of romance and abandon that's part of the tang of the city. Astoria, Oregon: As the oldest American settlement west of the Rockies, Astoria offers a rich history for your exploration. It was first visited by Captain Robert Gray in 1792, by the Lewis & Clark Corps of Discovery in 1805, then adventuresome pioneers by the thousands. Now its your turn to experience the excitement of exploring Astoria. Within a 20 mile radius, one can see dozens of exciting attractions including Fort Stevens State Park, Fort Astoria, Heritage Center Museum, Flavel House Museum, Uppertown Fire Fighters Museum, Astoria Column and the Columbia River Maritime Museum, home to one of the nation's finest displays of model ships and nautical artifacts. Astoria offers other fun discoveries, such as historic Victorian homes and the beautiful 4.1 mile-long Astoria Bridge. #travel #history #vacation #winecountry #princesscruises
French Daze- Virgin VOyages
I have been spending some time immersed in education for Virgin Voyages and here are some of my take aways-- the most exciting to me in my mind are their thoughts on sustainability and creating change. "Adult-by-Design: This holiday is just for those 18 and over. No kidding. (See what we did there?) With elevated experiences curated with adults in mind, we’ve created a place where only your Sailors’ inner-child will be roaming free. Relaxed Luxe: We’ve ditched buffets and pre-set dining times to bring your Sailors fresh flavors and unexpected pairings with made-to-order food from our 20+ unique eateries—all included. Dine on churrasco steak and lemon cheesecake at The Wake, mezze-style bites and glasses of rosé in the open air of The Dock, or get your crew together for a lively Korean BBQ free-for-all at Gunbae—all with views of the waves. No stuffiness, just premium service and endless options—all On Us. Green On Blue: Our greatest aim is for sailors to have the best time on board while indulging… minus all the guilt. So to do that, we’ve embedded sustainability deeply into both our operations and the sailor experience itself. Through pioneering innovative and sustainable technologies, banning unnecessary single-use plastics, and thoughtfully sourcing food and retail merchandise — we’re creating a sailor experience that balances the duality of enjoying the earth and caring for it."

Princess Northern Europe
Oslo, Norway: Forest-clad slopes plummet to an island-studded fjord. Welcome to Oslo, Scandinavia's oldest capital city. The commercial center of Norway, Oslo has been a major trading port for over a millennium. Its harbor is crowded with shipping that ranges from cruise ships to workaday shrimp boats. Though a relatively modest city in size - some 550,000 Norwegians call it home - Oslo is one of the largest capital cities in the world in terms of area. The hills and lakes of its outlying countryside are a paradise for lovers of winter sports. And the city itself boasts a sophisticated, yet cozy charm, with a blend of 19th- and 20th-century buildings, many decorated with woodcarvings and bright frescoes, and wide avenues dotted with public squares and parks. Oslo is the least populous capital in Scandinavia. The city offers excellent theater, great cafés and quality shopping. Points of Interest: Vigeland Sculpture Park, The Bygdoy Peninsula, Holmenkollen Ski Jump, National Gallery with "The Scream" Painting. #Europe #northerneurope #vacation #cruise #complimentarytravelconsultant
Alaska Princess
Icy Strait Point, Alaska: Nearby Alaska's largest Tlingit village exists a uniquely Alaskan place - lcy Strait Point. Hoonah, meaning "village by the cliff," is home to the Huna Tlingit who have occupied this area for thousands of years. Local legend tells how they were forced from their ancestral home in Glacier Bay by advancing glaciers, resulting in their relocation to and settlement of Hoonah. In 1912, the Hoonah Packing Co. built a large cannery one mile north of town. After only five years of operation, the cannery at Icy Strait Point turned out 152,505 cases of one-pound cans of salmon, the largest pack ever achieved in Alaska. Today, Hoonah is home to nearly 750 residents. Visitors will be intrigued by its rich Native heritage, opportunities to see wildlife and the vast wilderness that surrounds this unique village. Icy Strait's waters have yielded record-breaking halibut and salmon catches and provide summer-long access to all five species of salmon. Chichagof Island, on which Icy Strait Point is located, supports one of the largest concentrations of brown bears in the world and sightings are common. #vacation #cruise #princesscruise #alaska #travelagent

Things to do: In Rome visit the Colosseum Arena Floor, Roman Forum, and Palatine Hill. In Santorini visit the bay of Ammoudi- it extends under the impressive caldera cliffs. Besides the harbor with the fishing boats, there is a waterfront with traditional fish taverns where you can try fresh fish and local recipes and have a wonderful time in this unparalleled setting. In Athens- visit Acropolis and Parthenon: explore the Acropolis, admire the Parthenon, and trace the roots of democracy and western civilization. In Kusadasi, Turkey the ruins of the ancient city of Ephesus is one of Turkey’s top tourist draws. Visitors will explore on foot to see sights including the Odeon theatre, the Temple of Hadrian, and the Celsus Library. Mykonos Town, known by locals as Chora, is a whitewashed tangle of pedestrian lanes lined with historical houses, tavernas, and churches. Among the standout sights is the oft-photographed church of Panagia Paraportiani, near the Old Port and the charming Little Venice neighborhood. The oldest parts of the church date back to the late 14th century. In Katakolon, Greece visit Olympia, the ancient site where the Olympic Games were born in the 8th century BC. Princess Australia
Things to do in a couple of the ports of this trip: 🍫Haighs Chocolates is a South Australian institution. Since 1915 this fourth-generation family-owned business has been serving delicious chocolate treats to Aussies. While you will find their stores across the country there are two local stores in the city centre worth noting. The larger is the shop at the top of Rundall Mall in the beautiful Beehive building; this was the first store opened. The other is in the historic Adelaide Arcade. You can also find them in the Adelaide Central Market. Pop in and grab a famous chocolate frog or chocolate fish. 🦘Kangaroo Island lies off the mainland of South Australia, southwest of Adelaide. Over a third of the island is protected in nature reserves, home to native wildlife like sea lions, koalas and diverse bird species. In the west, Flinders Chase National Park is known for penguin colonies and striking coastal rock formations, like the sculpted Remarkable Rocks and the stalactite-covered Admirals Arch. 🐧Phillip Island is home to the largest Little Penguin colony in the world. You can experience the magic of watching these amazing seabirds waddle home from the ocean to their burrows any night of the year from our viewing platforms and boardwalks. #australia #princesscruises #travel
