During the holiday time, it’s a small world gets a Christmas makeover including lights. The layover remains through much of January as well. Character interactions are different at Disneyland than they are at Disneyworld. Let me explain:
At Disneyworld, characters have a spot they meet people and they get a line of people waiting for them. They’ll meet for certain times. They also always have a photographer in addition to their character attendant so you can get your photos with memory maker!
At Disneyland, most of the characters are roaming characters. They don’t have just one spot they move around. They also may or may not sign autographs/take photos. The attendants will tell you what you need to know and can take pictures for you if you ask but there usually isn’t a photographer. Some characters may have one but it’s rare. You can check the app to see times they’ll come out

You can often see where the characters will meet but in Disneyland they may roam around so it’s not always accurate you kinda gotta hunt for them. Sometimes you’ll find characters not listed on app at all. I met ms marvel on my trip and she was never posted on the app.

Shawarma palace: impossible breakfast sha-warm-up

Cozy cone motel: chilli cone queso

Bengal barbecue: chieftain chicken skewer

A new expanded area opened around Haunted Mansion back in November last year. Soon there will also be a new gift shop opening this winter! I’ll try to keep you all posted on a potential date! I’m also hoping since the ride reopens on my trip coming up (the 18) that I can explore this queue in person! Stay tuned for my stories during my trip. For your vacation, guests can purchase a sip and savor pass (pic 1) the pass is a scannable pass that allows you to redeem for select bites and non-alcoholic beverages with a digital coupon. The passes this year are available in 3 new, limited-edition, collectible designs to pay homage to Chinese, Vietnamese, or Korean cultures.
