As I reflect on 2024, I think about just how blessed I’ve been this year. I think about how true this is and how with each passing year it becomes more important to me. I look back on this year and I think about the experiences I’ve had not the things I’ve bought. I think about my girls trip to Disney world. I am in awe that I’ve gotten to visit 4 new countries. How I have such a great relationship with my mom that we take an annual mother daughter trip. This year we had fun at Universal. I think about the two concerts I went to. How I got to see AC/DC in Austria. I got to see Def Leppard for the 3rd time and enjoyed it as much as the first.
Traveling makes my heart and soul happiest. It is the purest form of joy I have felt. It is why I continue to be a travel agent. I want everyone to have that same joy. I want to help people experience that.

I plan to go to Disney World once and I also want to travel to one place I have not been before. I hope the new place is another country but it also could be a new state.

Updates from Disney and Universal:
Disney:
On Oct. 9, our theme parks and Disney Springs will be closed in phases beginning at 1 p.m.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom will close at 1 p.m.
Magic Kingdom, EPCOT and Disney Springs will close at 2 p.m.
It is likely the theme parks will remain closed on Thursday, Oct. 10. We will consider opening Disney Springs Thursday late afternoon with limited offerings.
This includes the cancellation of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom on Oct. 10. Event tickets will be refunded.

Universal:
On Wednesday, Oct. 9, Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure and Universal CityWalk will be open until 2 p.m. and will be closed on Thursday, Oct. 10.
• Universal Volcano Bay will be closed Wednesday, Oct. 9 and Thursday, Oct. 10.
• Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Florida is canceled for Wednesday, Oct. 9 and Thursday, Oct. 10.
• Our hotels remain operational as they focus on taking care of our guests.
We anticipate a full reopening of our destination, including Halloween Horror Nights, on Friday, Oct. 11 at our normal operating hours pending the outcome of storm impacts.

If you have a Halloween Horror Nights dated ticked and/or Halloween Horror Nights Express Pass for Wednesday, Oct. 9 or Thursday, Oct. 10, they will be automatically honored for a single night use on any one of the remaining nights of the event.
