CARE FOR THE ENVIRONMENT

We are activists for the Surfrider Foundation, a grassroots organization that works to protect the world's oceans, waves, and beaches. We've helped to create a local chapter in Tamarindo, plus volunteered in Jaco, Puerto Viejo, Nosara, Uvita, Pavones, and Dominical by organizing beach cleanups, building and donating recycle bins, and supporting other local environmental and community groups. protecting sharks and sea turtles in Costa Rica and well as Community Carbon Trees, sponsoring one tree for each vacation booked. We are committed to promoting eco-friendly options for travelers, and will never advertise hotels, development projects, or realtors that maliciously damage the environment or the culture of the country. We treat every client with the highest level of service and work hard with our suppliers to deliver it. COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS

In the past we have sponsored two local surfers, Leilani and Noe Mar McGonagle, who competed on the national surf tour. They were chosen for their dedication to the sport and the connection they have with their community. We also have sponsored Debbie Zec and Josue Venegas from Dominical, who went on to start their own surf schools. Every community in Costa Rica has some great athletes who deserve sponsorship, so we report their accomplishments on the website and in monthly articles published in Costa Rica (Ballena Tales and Quepolandia). We also organize beach cleanups, support the Costa Ballena Lifeguard Program.

Lots of rain out there. How else do you think Costa Rica stays so green? It's a great time to look for property since you can see how it will look at its worst (flooding/landslides/roads).

Meanwhile here is a list of road closures from the recent flooding. Some areas are still safe, but others are not. Be careful if you are driving out there. Cuidase!

CARE FOR THE ENVIRONMENT We are activists for the Surfrider Foundation, a grassroots organization that works to protect the world's oceans, waves, and beaches. We've helped to organize local chapters in Tamarindo, Jaco, Puerto Viejo, and Dominical by organizing beach cleanups, building and donating recycle bins, and supporting other local environmental and community groups like PRETOMA, ASANA, ATEC, Tropical Adventures, and the Dominical lifeguards. Each year CRSURF donates $100 to the Dominical lifeguards, and are also 1% for the Planet members, donating 1% of our proceeds to PRETOMA, to protect sea turtles in Costa Rica. We are committed to promoting eco-friendly options for travelers, and will never advertise hotels, development projects, or realtors that maliciously damage the environment or the culture of the country. We treat every client with the highest level of service and work hard with our suppliers to deliver it.

COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS We have sponsored three local surfers, Debbie Zec Jimenez, Leilani McGonagle, and her brother Noe Mar McGonagle, who compete on the Circuito Nacional de Surf, or national surf tour. They were chosen for their dedication to the sport and the connection they have with their community. Every community in Costa Rica has some great athletes who deserve sponsorship, so we report their accomplishments on the website and in our social media network. #costaricabeaches #costaricasurfspot #costaricahotels #costaricacarrental #costarricatravelagency #costaricatouristinformation #costaricabeachside #costaricamaps
