Check out the updated map of street closures and detours for this Saturday night's Christmas parade. The parade will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 3 with no parking allowed on Main Street after 4:00 p.m.

Around 5:30 p.m. the streets in red will close to traffic in preparation for the parade. Traffic will be detoured using the routes in yellow. The additional street closures have been added to detour traffic further away from the parade areas and provide additional police presence on Main Street. Streets will reopen following the conclusion of the parade.

We expect there to be a large turnout for the parade with lots of traffic. We encourage everyone to give themselves plenty of time to get to their destination. And if you are not attending the parade or coming downtown to eat, shop, or visit...you may want to adjust your travel routes to avoid the area on Saturday evening.

The Hendersonville Merchants and Business Association has arranged for the parade to be streamed by TOTAL Sports Network. Their cameras will be at the historic courthouse plaza and they ask that spectators do not sit in the filming area in the plaza.
