You can't go to a major theme park and not try different foods. has great food. Here are a couple of things I have had: Pork belly and beef skewers with a tiger tail breadstick at Bengal Barbecue at Disneyland and marinated short rib on a bed of tangy cole slaw with sticky jasmine rice and macaroni salad at Trader Sam's at Disneyland Hotel. Yum!

The Grand Californian at Disneyland Resort is themed as a wilderness lodge. It has entrances to Downtown Disney and Disney's California Adventure directly from the hotel.

Disneyland Resort has three on-property hotels. This is their newest, Paradise Pier Hotel. It overlooks Pixar Pier in Disney's California Adventure Park. Pixar Pier is themed to look like the beach town boardwalks with characters from Disney's Pixar Studios. All of the hotels on Disney property gives easy access to both theme parks at Disneyland Resort and Downtown Disney.

Tomorrow, Aug. 3rd, I leave for California to take part in a social media event at Disneyland. I will be there for 2 days. My wife and I took a cruise for our 30th anniversary. We sailed on Royal Caribbean's Allure of the Seas. We sailed out of Ft. Lauderdale with ports of call in Costa Maya and Cozumel, Mexico.
