Just outside of Jerusalem is the National Holocaust Museum ..Yad Vashem. The museum itself is important and meaningful for every visit to Israel. The Children's Memorial and Valley of the Lost Communities adds to this most moving experience. The docents make this difficult and dark topic be relevant to all age groups. The city of Haifa is wonderful. The Baha’i Gardens, a number of excellent museums and restaurants reflecting a diverse population make Haifa a must on your next time in Israel.

The Negev in Southern Israel is magnificent. One of the magical sights to see is the Rimon Crater, located 60 miles south of Beersheva. There are wonderful hotels in the region. Activities include jeep and camel rides in and around the Crater.

Segway and bicycle tours are terrific ways to get around in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. In Tel Aviv, we tour along the Mediterranean and visit the Peres Center for Peace and Innovation and the neighborhoods of Neve Tzedek and the American Colony. The story of the people from Maine who settled in Jaffa in the 1850’s is one of the best kept secrets in Israel! This is an example of the “magic!”
