Hey there! My name is Cindy Potter!
I fell in love with Disney at a very young age. I grew up in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada and when I was six and again when I was eight, my parents took my brother and me down to Walt Disney World for an extended period of time. We drove down and stayed in our camper at Fort Wilderness. We would take the boat over to the parks and spend our nights around the campfire with Chip and Dale. I cannot remember a time in my life when I wasn’t slightly obsessed with Disney, but that was where it started.
Flash forward many years later and I landed in Missouri on a college scholarship to play basketball, softball and volleyball. First at a junior college and then at a small private four year school where I found my passion for helping others. I spent many years as a student athlete and then as a professional, travelling around the United States and always found my way back to Disney World. Now in my 20th year living in Columbia, Missouri I am an athletic administrator at my alma mater and love my job. I get paid to help student athletes and watch games!
There is no feeling like the Disney feeling but I have found a new sort of joy in watching my kids experience Disney magic. My daughter is six and has been to Walt Disney World four times and is just as in love as I was at her age. My son is about to be five and has enjoyed meeting characters more than anything. He loves to watch videos of Disney and asks daily when we can go back.
In the summer of 2019 we took a big trip to Disney World with my parents, husband and kids. While planning the trip I realized that everyone around me was asking for tips and advice and it brought me such excitement to share my love for Disney. It didn’t take long to realize that I wanted to use my experiences, passion, and resources to help others plan their dream trip! Planning a Disney vacation can seem overwhelming and I want to take that feeling off your shoulders and put you at ease, knowing that your trip will exceed your expectations!
