Traveling with kids?

Don't underestimate the power of playtime! Disney is a busy busy busy vacation and can be overstimulating for little ones (and exhausting for us parents) Moms and dads, grab a drink or a snack and sit back and relax while your littles burn some energy at these unique locations!

MAGIC KINGDOM : Dumbo The Flying Elephant Playground located in the Dumbo ride queue is a circus themed play area with lots of places to climb, jump, and run. The best part? It's indoors!

EPCOT : Green Landing Family Play Zone is located near Test Track in the World Discovery section of EPCOT. Themed after Wall-E, this unique play zone allows children to explore, bounce, and balance! Pro tip - sneak over to Choza de Margarita in Mexico right over the bridge in the World Showcase before settling in for playtime.

HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS : Disney Junior Play & Dance near Star Wars Launch Bay. Hollywood Studios doesn't have a play area, but they do have a dance party! Guided by some INCREDIBLE DJ's and featuring 4 characters, your little ones will LOVE the chance to sing and dance alongside some Disney Junior favorites. Parents, you'll love that this is indoors and you get to be seated for the entire 10ish minute show!

ANIMAL KINGDOM : The Boneyard in Dinoland USA. This 'dino excavation site' wins the award for best play area in all 4 Walt Disney World parks. This place is MASSIVE. There are slides and bridges and ropes to climb and fun construction/dino theming. Mom and dad - this playground can be intimidating due to the size and the ability to not keep your eye on you kid at all times. This is a gated play area with a Disney member stationed at the gate. Relax in knowing that even though your kiddos may be climbing out of sight, there are safely corralled here!

Traveling with stroller aged children? This tip is for you!

BUY A STROLLER PONCHO. ☔️

Trust me. If you're visiting Walt Disney World, rain is a common occurrence. While those showers tend to clear up quickly, a wet stroller is no fun for anyone! This was a LIFE SAVER. Kept my kiddo dry and happy, even in the heaviest downpours, and kept my stroller (and all of our belongings tucked underneath) rain free! And if it doesn't rain, at least you were prepared.

Link in comments for the stroller cover I use! We loved this one because we could unzip it for air flow and it had a hard plastic front so it was sturdy and held its shape.

My 4 year old experienced roller coasters for the first time this past summer. He rode THREE of them to be exact 😱

Yep! You heard me right!

Disney is very family inclusive with their attractions and many of them are safe for all ages and heights. This is part of that Disney difference!

Everything on this menu is delicious - don't believe me? Ask the dishes! But your must-try snacks are Lefou's Brew and a Warm Cinnamon Roll. These cinnamon rolls are beast sized - big enough to share!

For extra magical goodness, order your Lefou's Brew in the souvenir stein and ask for extra icing for your cinnamon roll. YUM!

The rooms featured below are the Royal Guest Rooms at the resort and oh my goodness, aren't they dreamy?? It's a must for princess lovers! Just look at all of those details. The headboards alone have me swooning. 👑

The best part? Port Orleans Riverside is a moderate level resort, but the theming and atmosphere of the resort will have you feeling like it's a deluxe. This resort is a gem! You don't have the break the bank for a magical room experience. ✨

From the moment I first stepped foot into Magic Kingdom years ago, my life was changed and I didn't even know it. It unknowingly set me on a path that would help shape me into who I was always meant to become. Magic is real, you just have to know where to find it.

WDW is truly the most magical place on earth. It's more than a vacation spot or a theme park.

It's inspiration.

It's a reminder that there's always good in the world, no matter how dark it may seem.

It's laughter and happiness.

Tonight is the final night of Happily Ever After and I don't have the words to even begin to describe the emotional connection I have with this show.

You don't have to be the biggest Disney fan to find inspiration in the soundtrack for this spectacular. It's more than a show or fireworks. It's an experience. The words will always hit home and continue to encourage those who listen to follow their heart and dreams because YOU are the magic. Until you've experienced it, it's impossible to comprehend the feelings that overwhelm you with this show. Dreamers of all ages have found many things they love with HEA, but one they all have in common : hope.

I know that the next fireworks show will be enchanting, but it's always hard to say goodbye to something so special. As our pal Pooh would say :

✨ "How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard." ✨

💫 know before you go 💫

If you're traveling with little ones, go ahead and budget for bubble wands. Bubble wands are $30-$40 per wand and the bubble refull bulbs are $2 a piece. You can also refill the bulb with regular bubble solution of your own. These are EVERYWHERE. I'm not exaggerating - you can hardly find a place in the parks where bubbles aren't floating around! They light up, blow bubbles, and they're themed like characters. It's a hot commodity and once your little ones see those brilliant bubble wands in the hands of every other kid, they're going to want one too! Plus, these are actually great little souvenirs!

And the ultimate pro-tip? Pack them in your suitcase (with an extra set of batteries) on your next trip to Disney and double the fun for no extra cost! 💎💫

You'll find magic within every single detail while visiting Disney! Let's take a look at Disney's All Star Movies - value level resort.

One section of the resort is themed after 101 Dalmatians and - yep, you guessed it - there are ACTUALLY 101 Dalmatians running and playing around the theming of this portion! Don't believe me? Count them yourself on your next visit. (It also makes a fun challenge for elementary aged little ones to find and count all 101)

Make sure to schedule in some time on your next Walt Disney World vacation for Kilimanjaro Safaris. Experience the wonder of the African savannah in a brand new way. You'll get up close and personal with many large, exotic animals, such as elephants, rhinos, and lions! Just LOOK how close our driver got to the giraffes! Each ride is a unique - you never know what animals you'll get to see.

For extra magic, try to get on one of the sunset safaris. The colorful sky and setting sun bring out some animals that might not be out during the earlier parts of the day!

"We want a day in Magic Kingdom without rides! What can we do?"

✨ There are many reasons why you might want a day without rides and that's okay! Here are some activities you and your family can experience other than rides in Magic Kingdom :

1. Dumbo's Playground : Indoors, themed, AND a place for kids to run - SAY LESS! This absolutely adorable circus themed play area is inside of the queue for Dumbo The Flying Elephant. Let your little ones play and romp to their hearts content and when you're ready to leave, there are exit doors so you can bypass the ride if you wish!

2. Mickey's Philharmagic : Okay, so it's technically an attraction, but since it's more of a show, I figured I would add it! This is a great addition to any day in Magic Kingdom. Very little (if no) wait, comfortable indoor seating, and a short show.

3. Tom Sawyer Island : Got a little explorer on your hands? Head on over to Tom Sawyer Island and embrace that adventurous spirit! You'll have to take a slow moving raft over to the island, so if your child is nervous with rides, maybe this is a great easy starting place!

4. The Mystery Phone : Experience this hidden gem located in The Chapeau on Main Street. Find the old-fashioned telephone and pick it up to hear a secret conversation!

5. Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse : Climb up, up, and away into the magnificent treehouse inspired by the classic film, Swiss Family Robinson. Enjoy breathtaking views and explore unique contraptions!

6. Say Hi to Characters! : While contact meet and greets are still unavailable, don't get discouraged! You'll still get to see characters and fairytale friends out and about the parks. Between fun cavalcades to socially-distanced sightings, you and your little ones can still embrace the whimsical feeling of seeing their favorite characters in real life!

7. Rockettower Stage Dance Party : Throughout the day in Tomorrowland, character and dance parties will happen at the Rockettower Stage! Dance and play along with some fun friends!

8. Make A Wish at Cinderella's Wishing Well : Grab a coin, close your eyes, and make a wish at this beautiful wishing well next to Cinderella's Castle. Not only do you get to toss your wish into the well, but all of the coins gathered in the well are donated to children's charities in the Orlando area, such as "Give Kids the World" organization.

9. Hall of Presidents : Even if you're not a history buff, no one can complain about 30 minutes in an air conditioned building in the dark. (And don't tell anyone, but sometimes I catch a quick nap in here oops)

10. Carousel of Progress : This attraction is so special for so many reasons, but fans of Disney will love it because this was one of the attractions that Walt personally worked on. This is a personal favorite! The song will leave you feeling optimistic and energized. And again, air condition + sitting!!!

11. Watch the Nighttime Spectacular : Don't forget to grab a spot in front of the castle for the nightly fireworks show. It is ALWAYS worth the crowd and waiting and tired feet. There's no better way to end the day!

it's September which means Halloween mode is ON 🧡

September through December is my favorite time of year to visit the parks. Incredible weather, the most beautiful decorations, and (mostly) low crowds. Not to mention all of the special events that happen during this time of year, like Boo Bash and Very Merriest After Hours events.

Here's a fun throwback to 2015 when we went to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party dresses as Princess Aurora and Prince Phillip - my favorites! 💕 And YES adults get to dress up for the Halloween ticketed events! If you've never visited Disney during the fall season, this is your sign.

Hi, pals ✨

Since we hit 200 followers, I figured it was a great chance for me to introduce myself!

I'm Falon and (big shocker) a BIG fan of Disney. I've been married to my husband, Tyler, for 5 years and together, we have a spunky little 4 year old boy named Neville. Outside of travel, I'm a self-taught costume and wig designer, a performer, and an avid reader! Here are some quick Disney facts about me :

• Epcot is my favorite park (if you couldn't tell by all of my Epcot posts oops)

• My favorite ride is Tower of Terror 👻

• Dream Along With Mickey, a now retired castle show, is my all time favorite show and I still watch it regularly on YouTube.

• I always cry at Happily Ever after - I even cry thinking about it.

• Sorcerer Mickey is my favorite favorite favorite and I can't wait for Fantasmic to return so we can see him again! (Hopefully soon 🥺)

• Princess Aurora is my number one girl, but Elsa, Cinderella, and Tiana are all very special to me too. Tiana was the very first character I ever met at Disney and I can still remember the interaction almost word for word.

• We have 2 dogs, both named after Disney characters! Lottie, named after Charlotte La Bouff from Princess and the Frog. And Bruno, named after Cinderella's dog.
