โIn the summer of 2019, I went to a vineyard for the first time in Bordeaux, France. During the tour of the vineyard, I got to see the winemaking process. I was amazed by it all โ the grape vines, wine barrels, fermentation rooms and the history behind the vineyard, which is one of the oldest in the Bordeaux wine region. The first recorded grape harvest took place in 1252. Aside from wine tasting (of course), I got to learn how the wine barrels are stored. Then there was a hidden room filled with super old and huge bottles of wine (swipe left to see).

โI was on an intense hike during one of my visits to Kenya. This 60-yr-old woman who frequents the trail was also on the hike. We were hiking down to a waterfall and there was a lot of mud so it was slippery. The lady noticed that I was struggling so she used her machete to slash a bamboo stick for me in order to help make my hike less of a struggle. Itโs moments like this that I will never forget. It was a simple act for her, but it meant so much to me. Today and every day, I cherish women.
