Real talk about my job as a Disney Travel Planner โค๏ธโœจ๐Ÿฐ

1. Travel Agents do NOT travel for free. There are no huge discounts on airfare, hotel, tickets, etc. I am lucky enough to qualify for special rates, because I have reached a point in my career that has allowed me to receive these perks. It takes A LOT of hard work to get to this point ๐Ÿ™‚

2. I do not work for Disney. I am an independent agent for an AMAZING host agency, dare I say, the BEST in the business, MickeyTravels. Some agents do work directly for themselves, but I value my MickeyTravels family for their guidance, support, and insights through every step of my journey. I do not get into Disney Parks or Resorts for free, I'm an independent entrepreneur who wants her small business to continue to grow ๐Ÿ’˜

3. Being a Travel Agent is a REAL job. This is not a hobby for me. I strive to be the best and the only way to do that is to work for and be with the best in the business. This job not only allows me to travel to my favorite place on earth, but gives me the ability to support my family's financial needs ๐Ÿฅน

4. As a Travel Agent, I'm not salaried or "hourlyโ€. I don't get paid until my clients travel. Which means A LOT of time and effort goes into preparing you for your trip far in advance of your travel date. Essentially, for free. If you cancel, I don't get paid. If you get quotes through me and use my insights to turn around and book on your own, I don't get paid. ๐Ÿซฃ

5. When you travel to Disney without my assistance, I get a little sad ๐Ÿ˜”. I LOVE what I do, I take pride in the work that I do for my clients, I enjoy getting to know families and share the magic of Disney with them, and my services are FREE! I don't spend hours of my day marketing myself for fun. I do it to get the word out, to make sure you know I'm here for you and I truly want to help you have an amazing trip. 6. I LOVE THIS JOB. Honestly, it's not all sunshine and rainbows. It's A LOT of hard work being available to my clients constantly, providing quality customer service, staying up to date, marketing, making new content, etc. We're on 24/7, but I enjoy every minute of it ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ
