All of Universal’s resorts are great for their own reasons — theming, affordability, proximity to the parks — but sometimes Premier really IS the way to go! When you’re staying at a Premier resort, you get:

✨ Universal Express Pass Unlimited
✨ Up to 1 hr Early Park Admission to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter
✨ Priority seating at select restaurants
✨ Water taxi/walking distance to the parks (and you go through shorter security lines because of it!)
✨ Did I mention Universal Express Pass Unlimited???

I’m not going to lie: the price per night for Premier resorts is going to be higher than other resorts, BUT many times when you price out buying the Universal Express Pass Unlimited for everyone in your party for EVERY day of your trip (including the day you arrive AND the day you check out), it comes out more affordable to stay at Premier than at one of the other resorts! And you get all the other perks on top of it!

If you’re cool with waiting in longer lines for rides, then I absolutely recommend staying at one of the Prime Value or Value resorts, but otherwise….👀

👀 Inquiring minds want to know...which of these ✨magical✨ lands would you choose??

I may be a Disney girl through and through, but I think the Wizarding World claims my heart this round -- especially when the Ministry of Magic land opens in Epic Universe next year!

Harry Potter's been a BIG part of my life since the first book came out, and I still remember the first time I walked into Hogsmeade with the biggest smile on my face, not able to believe that I was REALLY there. (I will fully admit that Galaxy's Edge's food is 100x better though, even with Butterbeer)

In 2015 I went to Cabo San Lucas with some friends, and we all decided we wanted to try something outside our comfort zone that we couldn't do back home. Sure, laying by the pool & sipping cocktails was fine and dandy, but we wanted more!! So, we booked a ziplining excursion through our resort, and....

I've never had more fun in my life! So this is your casual reminder to embrace the unknown (yes, mom, this really is me saying this) and try something new and outside your comfort zone every once in a while -- you may just create a core life memory.

In honor of this most delicious of holidays, I want to know if you've ever had the chance to experience Universal Studios' VooDoo Donuts! This delicious confectionary was founded in Portland, Oregon, and is known for its wide variety of artisan donuts, vegan donuts, and funky donut artistry. Flavors range from classic sprinkles, to maple bacon, to Cap'n' Crunch, and more!

I’m a warm weather girl myself, but I’ll admit, I’m curious about the Alaskan cruise option!

Not all cruise lines are made equal when it comes to these two popular cruise destinations, so it’s important to know what you’re looking for in a cruise when you start planning your trip. Whether it’s front of the line access to Glacier Bay or a private island complete with its own water park in the Caribbean, the options are varied and endless, which is where a travel advisor can come in pretty handy 😉

🎉Happy 25th Anniversary to Universal's Islands of Adventure!!

Universal Orlando Resort's second theme park opened its doors on this day in 1999 and has grown in leaps & bounds since then, from adding Hogsmeade in 2010 to Velocicoaster opening in 2021. I can only wait to see what else this park has in store for us in the years to come!

❓❓Are you someone who likes to get to the airport a few hours early or someone who's rushing through security with minutes to spare?

The general rule of thumb for years has been to get to your airport at least 3 hours early for international flights & at least 2 hours early for domestic flights but these rules fell a bit by the wayside during the pandemic. As travel starts ramping up more and more, here are my top 3 reasons why you should start playing by the old rules and arrive at the airport early!

1️⃣ It gives you plenty of time to get through security without worrying about possibly missing your flight, especially if the lines are long!

2️⃣ Air travel can be unpredictable sometimes, and if there are changes to your flight such as a gate change or new departure time, you'll already be there and won't have to rush through the airport, dragging a suitcase behind you (not that I speak from experience...)

3️⃣ You'll have time to enjoy a coffee or a drink and relax before the flight so you're ready to hit the ground running when you get to your destination!

**Bonus Reason: if you plan to get there early but hit traffic on your way in, you have a built-in buffer period so you're not cutting it close!

Ciao! For my birthday month, I'm highlighting one of my absolute favorite countries to visit: Italy! As a Classical Studies nerd, Italy has ALL the history I love and then some. Plus, the views are spectacular, and the food is absolutely delicious no matter where you go!

Enjoy some throwbacks to when I was last in Rome with my family (aww, baby Hayley!), as well as some peeks of Sorrento & Capri, and get excited for all the Italy content because my first Italy itinerary post drops tomorrow!
