Hi everyone! An important announcement for those planning a visit this winter. If you have done some research, you may already know that everyone (age 12 & over) has to have a negative, approved Covid test within 3 days to enter Aruba, regardless of your vaccination status. Also, all people (age 2 & over) traveling from a foreign country back into the US need a negative, approved Covid test within 3 days to enter the US.
HERE IS THE 'IMPORTANT ANNOUCEMENT PART'
I did just learn today, that as of November 8, 2021, US citizens who are returning to the US from a foreign country, and are fully vaccinated, still need the negative test within 3 days to return to the US. And those who are not vaccinated will need that negative test within 1 day of their return. Aruba does have many testing sites and it is possible to get the results back quickly. The US does allow the antigen test for re-entry which provides very quick results. But do remember that Aruba DOES NOT allow the antigen test for entry. The best test for entering Aruba (that is allowed) and with a quick return on results, is the Abbott ID Now test. This can be found at 'some' Walgreens and CVS Pharmacies.
