e parites, etc. I make sure that the little details are taken care of before the party starts, so that when a guest arrives, the focus is on them.

Welcome to A Proper Setting by Kati Litten! This is my new business that I am starting, where I want to use my skills and vision to assist others with entertaining in their home.

Over the years, I have hosted many successful parties and helped others host their own. I am passionate about throwing great events and know that a successful party lies in the details.

In 1998, I pursued a long held goal and attended the Protocol School of Washington, where I was trained to be an etiquette consultant. To me, etiquette is all about being considerate to others, whether as a host or a guest.

Now I would like to combine these two skills, the art of entertaining at home and thoughtful etiquette, into an opportunity to help others. And have a good time doing it!
