The Northern Lights, scientifically named Aurora Borealis, whimsically paint the skies green and yellow, with bright notes of reddish pink. They are caused by collisions of atmospheric gases between the earth and the sun. Solar winds circle the globe, creating unique compositions that can appear as dancing rays.

Taylor’s Falls, MN
This is a sweet little town with a lot to offer.
- Hike in either side of the Interstate State Park, WI or MN.
- Take a river boat tour with Taylors Falls Scenic Boat Tours & Taylors Falls Canoe & Kayak Rental
- Check out a couple little shops or grab a bite to eat at an old fashioned drive through.
- The sculpture garden offers a golf cart to drive around for a small fee or you can walk. It definitely requires either a lot of depth or a sense of humor.

Ever wonder why some glaciers appear blue?
The red part of white light (long wavelengths) gets absorbed by ice while the blue light (short wavelengths) is transmitted and then scattered; the longer the path that light travels in ice, the bluer it will look.

They can often be seen running down the pier, hoping the ship will not leave without them.
The best opportunity to catch them in their natural habitat is to go to the lido deck about 45 minutes before ship departure.

Have you visited @ It’s really beautiful spot and not too crowded since parking and capacity are so limited. It’s a couple miles to walk the entire peninsula. One side is a canal that is more wild and plants and the other side is a beautiful beach. You can kayak from here and see incredible sights like dolphins, jellyfish, pelicans and more. How did we get this stateroom? It’s not the one we originally booked. Did you know most cruise lines will offer you an option to bid on an upgraded stateroom as your sail date gets closer? We lucked out and our bid was accepted, we went from an interior room to this amazing Club Balcony Suite! Looking to go on your own European Adventure? Before embarking on our Mediterranean cruise we flew into Rome, Italy 2 nights early. Can you experience everything Rome has to offer in this time? Nope, but you can see many of the highlights and eat delicious food! Thanks Shore Excursions Group for a fantastic Jeep and snorkeling tour in Cozumel. Our whole family had a great time! We swam in a cenote, explored Mayan ruins, ate tacos, tasted tequila (not the kids) and snorkeled!
Let’s be real, the wind a cruise ship is not your hairs best friend! 😂My advice is to embrace the crazy hair and just have fun! After all that’s what we are all about here!

Travel insurance can help cover costs associated with all types of challenges.- [ ] Medical emergencies - [ ] Trip cancellation - [ ] Missed flights- [ ] Routes changing- [ ] Having to leave early from your tripKeep in mind that you can be affected by others emergencies, especially when cruising. Ships will reroute to seek care for passengers who need medical attention (as they should, and we always pray for those in distress). This alone can cause the rest of the passengers to miss flights and other transportation. This is just one example of why trip insurance matters.
