I have a passion for animals, which lead me to this beautiful part of Florida! Originally from Atlanta, I was a veterinary nurse for 13 years and have several animals of my own. I took a further interest in wildlife education after becoming a volunteer with US Fish and Wildlife and The Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge. I have co-created and taught multiple educational programs offered throu

gh The Audubon Society, The Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge, and The Merritt Island Wildlife Association. My special interests are with reptiles and manatees, but if there is something on the refuge that you are dying to see, odds are I can find it for you and give you some fun facts about it. My tours are for fun (and of course photography) but I love providing education on the amazing species we have here! Come take a tour with me and I promise you will learn something.

Last night I got the amazing opportunity to train with FrogWatch USA at the Brevard Zoo! I plan on incorporating this training into upcoming tours and will be monitoring frog populations through the rest of the season 🐸

Tonight I partnered with the Audobon Society and led a group out on a private alligator walk. Not only did we have an amazing birder with us to provide top tier education on our native birds, but I got to give my own educational talk on the American alligator 🐊🐊🐊 It was such an amazing evening, and we got to witness a rocket launch amidst it all 😁

The eagles and white pelicans (and flamingos!!) are out 🥰 The flamingos were too far out for a good cellphone picture, but easy to see with binoculars🦩❤️

I took some time off this past year, but I'm baaaack 😊 I am doing a soft launch in February/March with limited availability, but will be hitting the ground running in April with an almost completely open calendar!

This tour was so much fun!!!! On November 27th I got to take the wonderful Mariah Volz and her family out to explore 😊 A lot of areas are still shut down due to hurricane damage, but that didn't stop our adventure 🦎🐢🐿🐾🦅🦆🪿🐸🐊🐍🐬🦀🕷

Unfortunately, Ian wiped out a lot of our trails and roads in our wildlife areas here, but fingers crossed they will be back up and running soon 😁 We have volunteers and staff out working to get everything back open. Until then I'm still taking future bookings, but full tours will not be available for another few weeks. I'll still be out exploring and keeping everyone posted on what's open 😊 In the mean time, here are some pictures for you to enjoy from my adventures this past week!
