This week, I have received in depth training material from some of our preferred vendors and suppliers. All of the presenters were great, but there were definitely a couple of standouts!

Tamika Bloodworth, Virgin Voyages BDM, shared info on the newest, adult only cruiseline. Virgin Voyages is cheeky, playful, and personal, and it's like an all-inclusive at sea. Mel Figueroa, Royal Caribbean International BDM, shared info on all of their ships and cruises, and he emphasized having a perfect day at Coco Cay! If you haven't sailed on either of these cruiselines, you a missing a treat. Let me help you decide where to sail to next!

A negative COVID-19 viral test or documentation of recovery is now required to fly to the U.S. You could unexpectedly test positive while overseas and be unable to fly home as planned. If you must travel right now, have a backup plan if you have to extend your trip abroad.

Some good news for cruisers!

The CDC said it's letting its no-sail order for cruise ships in US waters expire on October 31. In its place, the CDC has issued a "Framework for Conditional Sailing Order for Cruise Ships" that starts on November 1.

The Cruise Line International Association announced yesterday that ocean-going cruise line members will voluntarily extend the suspension of cruise operations from U.S. ports until September 15, 2020. This extension is being done to err on the side of caution to help ensure the best interests of the passengers and crewmembers.

Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) issued the following statement today to announce that the association’s ocean-going cruise line members will voluntarily extend the suspension of cruise operations from U.S. ports until 15 September 2020.

Disney lovers, it's almost time!! Disney’s Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom parks are scheduled to reopen starting July 11, 2020, followed by EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios July 15, 2020. To manage attendance during the phased reopening, all guests with a ticket or Annual Pass will be required to make a reservation in advance for each park entry using the new Disney Park Pass system online. Guests will be able to select one park per day; visiting more than one park per day will be temporarily unavailable.

Beginning January 1, 2021, features of the MagicBands will be included with the My Disney Experience app and available on your smart devices. Complimentary MagicBands will not be provided to Disney Resort hotel guests; however, MagicBands can still be purchased separately.
