This is a group of 22 people that went from various cities of the US to Puerto Rico. The mom was turning 60 so the whole family celebrated her birthday in San Juan. One of the services that I provided as a travel agent was to reserve the restaurant because as a PR specialist, I know the island. I also reserved a day on a catamaran to go island hopping. One of the values I bring as a travel agent is my connections with suppliers. At the last minute, we had an extra person that needed to go on the catamaran and he called the supplier directly and was told there was no more room. They contacted me to see if I could help, and voila, I got him on it. Never underestimate the value travel agents bring to our clients. My clients are very happy with their trip.
