Beginning July 24, Walt Disney World guests can plan in advance with Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lightning Lane Single Pass!

Guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel and other select hotels will be able to plan Lightning Lane passes up to 7 days in advance, for their entire stay (up to 14 days). All other guests can plan up to 3 days in advance.

Very similar to the old FastPass System we all knew! 🙌🏼

Let’s talk genie+! We recently got back from Disney world with a toddler and have so many tips and tricks for you!

Tip #1- purchase genie+ BEFORE 7am so you can easily book your first ride. Right at 7am you should be able to book, and I always recommend booking a ride that you all want to ride that might have longer wait times! (pirates, soarin, peter pan, space mountain, mine train, thunder mountain…etc.)

Tip #2- After your first genie+ ride is booked you have 2 different ways to get another. For example, if your first ride isnt until 11:30am, but the park opens at 9am, you can book another ride 2 hours after park opening even if one is already booked! The second way is if you scan into a lightening lane with your magic band, you can immediately book another while waiting in line!

Tip #3- you do not have to be on your phone 24/7 with genie+, stick to looking for your next ride while waiting in line or at breaks! We never waited for more than 1 ride that wasnt a lightening lane the entire trip, which was great with a toddler always on the move. Our longest wait was 20 minutes max!
