Day three in Iceland was all about the south coast. We started our day at Seljalandsfoss waterfall which you can walk behind. Be prepared to get wet if you visit here lol.
From there, we headed to the main attraction of the day, the Solheimjokull glacier. If you have never walked on a glacier, I highly recommend it. The views are spectacular and the experience is a once in a lifetime. We were blessed to have beautiful weather with no rain and only moderate winds.
Our next stop was Dyrhólaey Lookout point. Dyrhólaey is a rock formation in the water. It also happens to be the location where the puffins nest. Sadly, the puffins were already gone so we didn’t get to see any today.
Our last stop of the day was Vik. Here we visited the black sand beach called Vikurfjara. We also saw The Lava Show where we saw a live lava demonstration. For dinner we indulged in some local black crust pizza. It tasted delicious!
On our way back to Reykjavík, we saw the current eruption reflected in the clouds from the road.

On our second day in Reykjavík, we spent the morning completing all of Erin’s shopping needs with a trip to the mall, the grocery store, and the electronics store, otherwise known as Elko. We had a delicious lunch at Britt Braud, a lovely little bakery by one of the fjords. After lunch, we took a wet but lovely walk along the fjord and climbed onto a small lava rock beach. Thankfully, the rain subsided, and we went to dinner at a delicious restaurant for some lamb steaks. Did you know that Bernaise sauce is an Iceland favorite? I took a moment to admire the cathedral at night on my way back to the hotel. It is absolutely beautiful. Time for some sleep - tomorrow we tackle the glacier!

Made it to Iceland late last night. Woke up to a beautiful sunny day today. The second Picture is a view from our hotel and the next picture is at the Cathedral in Reykjavík which is a block away from my daughter’s new apartment. Spending most of today shopping and getting her set up for her move here. Had a delicious lunch at the Iceland IKEA!

We ended our day at two of my favorite places. The Boathouse is a great waterfront restaurant on Naples Bay with lots of fresh seafood options and yummy cocktails. After dinner we stopped by Tin City for some ice cream and fun! More on Tin City tomorrow!

We took a day today to play! After a yummy breakfast, we headed to Marco Island, where we took a boat ride with Captain Jack. We saw lots of beautiful scenery, wildlife, and best of all got to go shelling! Then we made a stop at the beach on Marco Island before heading back to the condo to freshen up. Stay tuned for tonight‘s adventures!

We had a busy day picking out furniture for the condo in Naples. Our sales rep, Migena, was outstanding!! Without her help we would still be there! Now it’s time for some fun!!

Aruba is known as the “happy island“ but did you know that it is always breezy there? The average temperature in Aruba is in the 80’s regardless of time of year and the trade winds always provide a cool breeze as a respite from the warmth. My clients enjoyed a wonderful vacation in Aruba. Here’s what they had to say about their trip.
Our trip to Aruba was amazing! Colleen helped us book 2 of the most amazing resorts on the island for our trip! The first was exactly the paradise we were looking for. Service and amenities were top notch as we enjoyed live music, and watching sunsets while fine dining on the beach at the restaurant. And we had the most gorgeous ocean view from the balcony in our room.

Our second resort was the gateway to the private flamingo island where we spent the day swimming and relaxing in over the water hammocks in a private cabana. Being surrounded peacefully by the flamingos, pelicans and geckos was a highlight of our trip! This vacation according to each of my kids in a one word description is “relaxing- easy- luxurious- chill!

Everyone was happy with this trip so that’s a definite win! Thank you Colleen for planning a fantastic trip!!

Hello! I see a lot of new faces on here so I'd like to re-introduce myself. I am a retired physical therapist who loves to travel! Growing up, my family camped all around the United States, and I fell in love with exploring new places and experiences. I wanted my children to also fall in love with the world so my husband and I took them to many of the places I explored as a child and also expanded our travels across the Atlantic and Pacific oceans. It’s been just over one year since I started my Travel Agent journey. And what a year it has been! It has been even more exciting and life-changing than I could have imagined. Thank you to all of my clients, friends, and family who have supported me in my new endeavor. I have loved every minute of planning your vacations and I thank you for trusting me. We are halfway through our Melodies of the Danube river cruise on

So far we have visited Budapest, Bratislava, Vienna, Durnstein and we are cruising in the Wachau Valley along the Danube on our way to Grein for an exclusive castle visit. I can’t wait! So far, this cruise has been nothing but incredible!

Can you say pub crawl??!!

After a fun filled day exploring all the activities on Wonder of the Seas we relaxed at night while visiting one of the many bars and lounges throughout the ship. There is something for everyone from country music in The Mason Jar to the Karaoke Bar to relaxing piano music in the Schooner Bar.

One of my favorites was The Trellis Bar located along the walkway in Central Park. It was perfect for a pre dinner cocktail!

Fun Fact: you can get mocktails and cocktails at any bar on the ship!

Can you say onboard activities??!! does not disappoint when it comes to keeping guests busy.

While we were on the Wonder of the Seas we rode on a Merry-go-round, played mini-golf, tested out the Abyss- a dry slide that plummets 10 decks, the water slides and zip lining! For more adventurous cruisers you could go rock climbing, ice skating or try surfing on Flowrider! The little ones were just as happy with indoor and outdoor spaces designed just for them!

Thank you Royal Caribbean for the opportunity to sail on Wonder of the Seas and attend a Seminar at Sea. It was an amazing ship and I learned so much about Royal Caribbean! If I’m being honest I was a little nervous about being on such a huge ship but it was incredible! It never felt crowded and I was still discovering new hidden areas on the last day! I cannot wait to share my experiences and knowledge with all of you! I will be sharing much more over the next few weeks!

Did you know Royal Caribbean has its own island?? It’s called Perfect Day at Coco Cay. I had an opportunity to visit it as part of my Seminar at Sea. Here’s an overview of the experiences you can have while visiting the island.

Included Experiences
Splashaway Bay- for young children the fun is never ending in this aquapark filled with slides, pools, and drench buckets.
Captain Jill’s Galleon- A pirate ship full of water fun including slides, water cannons and more.
Sports Pavilion at Breezy Bay- your sports enthusiast can play basketball, volleyball, co****le and more on hard or sand courts.
Enjoy a walk thru a beautiful nature trail filled with flowers and a cooling overhead canopy.
Experiences available for an additional fee
Thrill Waterpark- Climb up and slide down the tallest waterslide in the Caribbean known as Daredevil’s Peak, ride the waves in the Wave Pool, test your balance and agility in the Adventure Pool, ride with a buddy on a tandem raft on Twister and much more!
Zipline Takeoff- Get a thrill as you soar across the island in the sky.
Up, Up and Away- A 10 minute helium balloon ride that floats 450 ft into the sky for a fabulous view of the whole island.
Beaches/Pools
There are seven beaches/lounge areas on the island including the popular Breezy Bay at Chill Island, South Beach where you can participate in sports such as volleyball/basketball, and Cove Beach for more relaxation/quiet.
Coco Beach Club- This is an area available for a fee for guests of all ages. It has over the water cabanas, an upgraded lunch menu (lobster and filet mignon) , an infinity pool (heated to 88 degrees year round) and a beautiful beach.
Oasis Lagoon- The largest freshwater pool in the Caribbean is perfect for guests of all ages.
Food
There are a number of restaurants that are included in the experience as part of your onboard dining. Your drink package is also honored on the island.
Food and drink may also be purchased at a variety of restaurants on the island. One of the favorites is Captain Jacks which also has live music and great views of the water.
Other Facts
There is a tram to take guests around the island.
There are beach wheelchairs available for guests who need them.
Beach towels are provided.
Floating mats and snorkel equipment are available to rent for a nominal fee.
