I have been fortunate to attend a Seminar at Sea on the MSC Seashore for the last few days. Here are some highlights! Overall it has been a wonderful cruise. The food, entertainment, and service have been outstanding. Whether you eat in the main dining or specialty restaurant you will walk away with a belly full of delicious food. My favorite show so far was Journey. It is a musical show telling the story of a young boy from Ireland traveling the world. It was so good they actually got a standing ovation! All of the servers, bar tenders, and cabin staff are very friendly and helpful. Our balcony cabin is very comfortable and the balcony is a generous size. Stay tuned for a full recap next week!

I'm excited to announce I will be setting sail on the MSC Seashore very soon for my Seminar at Sea. MSC is one of the top cruiselines in Europe and in the last few years they have expanded their ports to the US. They offer a variety of cruise experiences for everyone's budget and tastes. They also have a private island, Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve located in the Bahamas. A stop at their island is included on many of their Caribbean itineraries. Last night we went to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas party and it was fabulous! This is a separate ticketed event at the Magic Kingdom for a limited number of people. Included in this event is a special holiday parade and firework spectacular show. Throughout the park you can find delicious treats and they have allergy friendly snacks as well. My husband said the ginger snap cookies were delicious! Wait times for the rides was greatly decreased because there’s a limited number of people in the park. Another highlight is all of the characters that are strolling throughout the park and available for meet and greets. Fun fact - they have special holiday outfits they wear for this event. The most magical thing was the snow on Main Street. I highly recommend this event if you’ll be visiting Disney during the holiday season.

Today is National Cookie Day! If you know me you know that Christmas and Cookie Day are almost synonymous. Cookie Day is a tradition that started many years ago with my sister's in-laws and expanded to include my family as well. We have three generations of bakers ( the 4th gen is starting soon!) and have made thousands of cookies over the years!! More importantly we have made memories to last a lifetime. This year's Cookie Day is Saturday and I can't wait to make cookies and more memories. Enjoy a cookie with someone you love today!
