Gotta love it when one of my athletes posts this feedback about a 90 mile ride that included riding up South Mountain 3 times:

"Felt really good about strength and endurance for all of the ride but in particular that final 40 miles to finish it out. Felt like a metronome with good cadence, pedal stroke and strength. I kept finding riders out on the road during last 40 miles but rode every one of them off my wheel with steady effort."
