Big news from Walt Disney World! The virtual queue is gone for TRON Lightcycle / Run. Starting today, guests are able to ride using a regular standby line or by purchasing a Lightning Lane Single Pass.
This will definitely change up park strategies for Magic Kingdom! The line grew very quickly this morning, so I wouldnât recommend riding TRON at rope drop. If you are a Walt Disney World Resort guest and have Early Entry, that may be a good time to ride TRON using the standby line. However, Iâve seen TRON open late multiple times, so planning to ride during Early Entry is a little risky.
Right now my best strategy would be to ride Seven Dwarfs Mine Train during Early Entry and purchase the Lightning Lane Single Pass for TRON if you hope to ride both in one day without long waits. If you want to avoid purchasing either Lightning Lane Single Pass, you could try riding TRON just before the park closes. Itâs so cool to ride at night! Iâll be keeping an eye on those later wait times for clients traveling soon and wanting to try this strategy. If youâre planning to ride at night, be sure itâs not a party night! Remember Magic Kingdom closes at 6 pm on nights with Mickeyâs Not-so-Scary Halloween Party unless you have a party ticket.

If you have a Frozen fan, donât skip Epcot on your Walt Disney World vacation! I often hear people say you can skip Epcot with younger kids, but I disagree. Epcot has some of my favorite attractions with no height requirement - Frozen Ever After, Remyâs Ratatouille Adventure, and Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana - to name a few. But most importantly, itâs the ONLY place at Disney World where you can meet Anna and Elsa. If that is a must-do for your little Frozen fan, make sure you include an Epcot day and a visit to Royal Sommerhus on your itinerary!

My favorite part of this new offer is that guests get FREE Park Hopper benefits when you upgrade to a Walt Disney Travel Company room-and-ticket package that includes non-discounted 4-day (or longer) date-based theme park tickets! I always recommend adding Park Hopper to your tickets at this time of year because of the holiday parties at Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios. Big changes are coming to Genie+! For one thing, the name will change to âLightning Lane Multi Pass.â
For my Disneyland clients, it looks like it will operate exactly the same as Genie+, just with a different name.
For my Walt Disney World clients, you will have the ability to pre-select three lightning lanes. If you are traveling on or after this change takes place on July 24, we will navigate this change together!

I couldnât let this đââď¸ go by without a shoutout to Run Disney! This year I finally checked a half marathon off my bucket list and ran the Princess Half with friends. It was SO fun! If youâve ever considered a Disney race, I highly recommend it. Registration opens this month for the 2025 Disneyland Half Marathon weekend which also includes a 5k and 10k. And registration will open later this summer for the 2025 Princess Half Marathon and Springtime Surprise weekends at Walt Disney World. If youâre interested in any of these races send me a message and letâs get you registered and booked!

Letâs-a go to Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios Hollywood! đ You will only find this super fun land in California until the opening of Universal Orlando Resortâs Epic Universe next year. I canât wait for this to be on both coasts next summer!
The best way to experience Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios Hollywood is by purchasing the Early Access ticket. This add-on ticket lets you into this area of the park an hour before the regular park opening time. Plus it gives you one-time express access to the special 60th anniversary studio tour before 11 am. Itâs the perfect way to start your day!

We felt like rockstars at Disneyâs All-Star Music Resort! đś We stayed in a family suite for the first time and loved it!
The family suite sleeps up to 6 with a queen bed in the bedroom and two queen-size pull down beds in the living space. When the beds are folded up, there is a couch and dining table that store underneath them to save space. We used the dining table almost every day because this suite has a kitchen with a full-size fridge! I loved all of those features, but my favorite part of the family suite is that it has TWO BATHROOMS! đ Both bathrooms have a door separating the vanity area from the shower and toilet which made getting ready a breeze.
The family suites at All-Star Music are a great option for bigger families on a budget. Now that our youngest is three, we need a room that sleeps at least five people, and this was perfect. We will definitely be back!!

The new âDreams That Soarâ drone show at @waltdisneyworld is amazing!! 𤊠This show is scheduled to run at 9:00 pm and 10:45 pm nightly from May 24 through September 2, 2024. Double check your app for times in case they change later this summer. The show is at Disney Springs which means you donât even need a park ticket to watch it. It would be a great evening activity for your arrival night or a rest day. The viewing area is located on the west side of Disney Springs between the Cirque du Soleil Theatre and Aerophile. The line for the 9:00 pm show opened at 7:30 and filled quickly so definitely arrive early! Video credit goes to my husband who was in Orlando for work and got to see the show opening week! He was in front of Jaleo and had this amazing view. Jaleo is also offering a tasting experience that allows you to watch the show from their patio. This would be a great way to make sure you can watch without having to wait in the line for the viewing area. Itâs available to book on Open Table. Iâll link their site in my stories! Anxiety level 10/10 but 100% worth it! Hagridâs Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure is THE most popular ride at @universalorlando for good reason. It is my favorite ride and a must-do in my opinion. It is NOT included with Express Pass, so even if you opt to pay for that service, you will need to be strategic to get on Hagridâs without a long wait. The best time to ride Hagridâs is during Early Park Admission. If youâre a guest at one of the Universal Orlando Resort hotels, you can enter the park an hour early which is a huge benefit! You can also go to Early Park Admission if you purchase multi-day park tickets through a travel agent (like me!) but I highly recommend staying on property. We stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel last week and went to Early Park Admission at Universalâs Islands of Adventure. We lined up at the park entrance about 45 minutes before Early Admission started and only had a few people ahead of us. As you can see, the crowd behind us grew quickly! We were able to ride Hagridâs with a very short wait and my big girls got to ride twice using child swap since my youngest isnât tall enough to ride yet. We finished both rides and went to the wand show at Ollivanderâs before Early Park Admission ended. By park opening the wait for Hagridâs was already over an hour. Anyone else only a morning person at Disney? đ My favorite time of day in the parks is in the morning right after Rope Drop (the actual park opening time when they drop the ropes to open the lands and attractions). The temperatures and crowds are lower and you can get so much done! Then take a break at your hotel when it gets hot in the afternoon and come back for the evening refreshed and ready to go. How cute are they?! đ We had a blast dancing with the Aristocats during the Disney Holiday Dance Party at @disneyland. Seeing these rare characters felt more like an after hours event, but this is included with your park ticket during the Holidays at Disneyland!
