🏛The Breakers Mansion🏛

The Breakers is a Gilded Age mansion located at 44 Ochre Point Avenue, Newport, Rhode Island, US. It was built between 1893 and 1895 as a summer residence for Cornelius Vanderbilt II, a member of the wealthy Vanderbilt family.

The Breakers was everything a millionaire of the Gilded Age could want in a summer getaway. A classic Italian palazzo design, the finest American and European craftsmanship, views of the sea, and modern technology combined to make the ideal setting for luxurious living and entertaining.

The Mansion has entertained presidents, royalty and guests from across the world for more than 125 years and today is visited by hundreds of thousands of people each year. It is the flagship of the Newport Mansions and a world-famous iconic image of the City-by-the-Sea.

Come visit The Breakers and you will fall in love with Newport!

🌊Sachuest Beach (locally known as Second Beach)🌊

Second Beach is a South facing, mile-long, family-friendly beach with good surf and great sand. (My family loves to watch the sunset at the Second Beach 😍🌅).

There is a concession stand, bathrooms, changing area, showers, grills, picnic tables, and shade structures located at the main building. Port-a-johns are located at the base of each pathway.

Surfboard rentals and lessons are available during the season as well as a Del's Lemonade truck. Showers can be found at Surfer's End (on the west end).

🌊Easton's Beach, Newport, RI🌊

Easton’s Beach is a 3/4 mile long surf beach at the north end of the Cliff Walk here in Newport, Rhode Island. It's the longest beach in Newport.

Come enjoy the weekend in Newport and visit Easton's Beach, most known as the "1st beach".
