The character interaction alone at Chef Mickey’s gets a...you guessed it, chef’s kiss! 👩‍🍳😘 In addition to visiting your table, multiple times throughout your meal expect some singing and dancing, and the littles may even get to join in with their favorite Disney friends!

This is a true buffet experience, so you can spend as much or as little time here as you want. Take your time and hit that buffet multiple times and visit with the characters repeatedly, or grab a couple plates and wave to the characters as they pass by, it’s up to you!

It sure feels like Winter has been around for a few weeks already, but today is the official first day!

❄️🕒 Today marks the first day of what will inevitably feel like the longest winter in history to many. You know where it always feels like summer? At the Poly! 🌺☀️ Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort just oozes that tropical, always warm yet totally chill, summertime vibe. 🌴🍍 This is the kind of Disney resort you book when you want more than just a place to sleep (for up to 5 in standard rooms). A stay here means resort time is just as much a part of your vacation as the parks. I could go on and on, but you’ll stop reading. So I’ll just mention a few of my favorite things about this Deluxe resort:

🎆 The View of Happily Ever After (or holiday fireworks) at Magic Kingdom
Trader Sam's, Ohana, Dole Whip, Pool side cabanas!!

🌟🍷 “Do not be fooled by its commonplace appearance.” (Please read that again in the voice of Robin Williams from the beginning of Disney’s Aladdin.🧞‍♂️✨) In the back of the beautiful, but quiet Morocco pavilion in EPCOT’s World Showcase is a sangria bar! Oasis Sweets and Sips serves shareable red or white sangria, hard cider and beer along with some light snacks. But it’s more the ambiance of an open-air market with seating that grants this spot the title of hidden gem! 🌞✨
On my last visit this area was still being worked on, but a quiet retreat with a sweet treat is right up my alley!! I'll be sure to stop in, you should too! I remember this area as an actual 'market' where we'd shop for souvenirs, so I'm sure it will be filled with ambiance!
🧃💧 By the way, they also serve juice and water so for anyone not into really into drinking around the world, you can still take a rest, soak up the ambiance and get some colorful photos-it’s so beautiful back there. 📸🎨 Did you know about this bar? And when it comes to sangria are you team RED or WHITE? 🍷🥂

‘Bluey’ is Coming to Walt Disney World, Disneyland and Disney Cruise Line Beginning in 2025
And I couldn't be more thrilled!
Beginning in January 2025 onboard Disney Cruise Line voyages originating from Australia and New Zealand, families can interact with Bluey and her sister, Bingo.
More news about Bluey at Walt Disney World and Disneyland will be released in the coming months.

It may be a short run (January 17th-February 24th), but it is a mighty good time! Chalk art, scavenger hunts, fun and delicious food, family activities, irresistible merch, Broadway style entertainment and some seriously stunning art for purchase. 🏰👟🚍🚤🚠 Park hopping is great and gives you a lot of freedom, but there’s something magical about experiencing a Disney park from open to close. Pandora – The World of Avatar at Animal Kingdom makes a strong case for staying put and soaking up the entire day in one place. 🌌🌿 It’s two completely different vibes, and if you head home without at least strolling through the bioluminescent pathways after dark, you’ll definitely be missing out. Trust me.
We love to dine at Yak and Yeti near park close, request an upstairs table for a great view, people watching. Then strolling out at dusk, stopping by the Tree of Life for 'Awakenings', a perfect end to a perfect day!
🤔🌙The tricky part about seeing Pandora at night is it’s hard to do during the summer months when the park typically closes before it gets dark. But there are ways! 🚀 You know I’m ready to start planning when you are, but for now-who HAS enjoyed the beauty of Pandora after dark? 🌌🐾
