A little cruising trick.
On many of the Royal Caribbean ships you can turn the couches around, which means my daughter could sleep on it without rolling off.
This couch is loveseat sized but my 2 almost 3 year old still had plenty of room.

Have you heard about hiding ducks on cruises?
It is so fun to hide and hunt for them.
Basically you can hide them anywhere minus a few places such as shops and pools.
When you find them you can either keep them or hide them again.
You see all kinds of ducks such as the rubber duckies, painted pictures of ducks, crocheted ducks, and more!
Let's talk honeymoon!
So I did my honeymoon at Disney World and couldn't have imagined a better place for my husband and I to go.
You're probably thinking Disney is not romantic, but you can add some romance into it.

Wear complimentary anniversary/marriage pins and have complete strangers tell you congrats.

A private photography session around the park of your choice

Breastfeeding and traveling.
I was an over producer and never wanted to travel back with milk so I donated it to people in whatever state I was in. I found people on the Facebook groups Human Milk 4 Human Babies (enter state name after that). I would make a post that I was donating, what town I'll be in, when it would need to be picked up, and about how many ounces I would think I would have.
When traveling within the U.S.A. you are legally allowed to breastfeed in public in all 50 states. Most airline allow you breastfeed in public on the plane.
You are allowed to bring breastmilk through the airport in your carry-on even if you're not traveling with your baby AND it does not have to go through the x-ray machine. You are allowed to bring a cooler with freezer packs, ice packs, and gel packs.
When at Disney World many moms enjoy breastfeeding on rides because you typically have AC or heat and a place to sit. Baby care centers also have nursing rooms.
When cruising on most cruise lines you can breastfeed in public on the ships, the main thing is to check the breastfeeding laws in the countries you're going to.
I have found the Ceres Chill to be amazing to keep breastmilk cold while traveling.
Before you go on your trip ask your TA if there is a refrigerator to keep milk cold in your room. If not, some places may be willing to accommodate you with a medical refrigerator.

Always travel with a fan!
Do you know how many times I've stayed places and been so hot at night and regretted not bringing a fan? More time than I can count.
If you're driving and have room just bring a box fan if you have one.
For cruises I recommend a camping fan and 100lb magnetic hooks. You'll also need a power strip WITHOUT a surge protector for cruises.
If you're not cruising and you're tight on room try getting a high powered table top fan.
I also recommend bringing warm and thin pjs for both you and your kids because sometimes the rooms are freezing other times you're sweating.

One thing I will not travel without is my toddler's sound machine...and we don't even use one regularly at home.
Sometimes when traveling you'll end up with people running the halls or loud neighbors, a sound machine helps drown the noise out. Also just to warn yall, when cruising if it is really foggy they have to blow their horn every 2 minutes so having a sound machine definitely helps that.
We personally use the Young Living Snowy the Owl diffuser because it's works as a 4 for 1 in my family. I can use it as a nightlight, a noise machine, and a diffuser.

So last week's tip was not to stress about sleep....but when your toddler is grumpy and you need to do something to get them to sleep but don't want to go to the room. I have found walking around without stopping to help my toddler sleep in the stroller.
Here are a few of my favorite places to walk without stopping at Disney World:
Magic Kingdom- on main Street on the left, if you're looking at the castle from the entrance, all those shops are connected and a great place to walk up and down with AC. The only issue with this option is during parades it gets loud. My 2nd favorite is walking at the back of MK going around Tomorrowland and Fantasyland
Epcot-walking the World Showcase
Animal Kingdom- I enjoy the loop between Africa and Pandora.
Hollywood Studios-I just walk around Galaxy's Edge, and sometimes I get to see characters while my daughter naps by doing this.
On cruises I have found some good places too. Here are a couple of my go to:
Any floor, that's not a top deck, that you can walk around the outside of the whole ship. You can watch the water and get some fresh air. I also walk inside and walk the halls....but it can get crowded in the halls when the cleaning carts are out or on embarkment day when luggage is in the hall. For my daughter pool decks and the promenade typically have to much going on for her to nap.

Today's tip is to leave sleep schedules at home, they'll eventually go back to them once you get home.
I'm not saying your toddler will get no sleep on your trip, let them sleep when they're tired.
What I am saying is don't stress if they go to sleep late, sleep in, take naps at different times, or not get enough sleep for their age. As long as your little is happy and not grumpy continue the fun while you can, because eventually they'll need sleep.
When I travel with my daughter I do not stress about being back in the room at certain times for naps. What has worked for my daughter is stroller napping, which is something she is not normally a big fan of.
When you travel, your little is normally so tired and over stimulated they'll sleep anywhere.
Time is precious and your trip will fly by so try not to stress over the little things and just be present in the moment.
So I love trying new food.....but once I find a thing I love at a restaurant that is all I order from then on.
So when I heard Royal was changing their main dining room menus to not include the classics every night, I was sad.
But then I actually ate their new menu and can honestly say I love it. l also enjoyed having new dishes every night to try new things.

I'm a big believer in have kid, will travel.
I get it not everyone wants to travel with their littles, which is fine if that's what you want.....but I absolutely adore traveling with my girl.
Does traveling with a kid look different compared to going without? Yes, but it's still so much fun!
Are there meltdowns? Yes, but we have them at home also.
Watching my daughter explore cruises, disney world, and many more places has been amazing!
Going on vacations like Disney World, cruises, all-inclusives are so nice with kids because everything is there....food, entertainment, your room, etc.
The cast memebers at Disney World and the crew members with Royal Caribbean have been amazing with my daughter....even when she's having a meltdown.
My advice is take your kids to explore the world.

I would recommend everyone take them, you don't have to purchase them if you don't like them.
Remember to go look at your pictures and purchase them on the last night, you cannot purchase your pictures once off the ship.
If you know you'll want pictures you can purchase a photo package before your trip, that is typically cheaper than on board.
If you do a photo package just an FYI pictures speciality restaurant pictures are not included. Make sure to read the description there are a few other places not included, such as private events like weddings.

Garden Grill is one of my favorite character sit downs.
The character interactions with the kids and adults is always fun, especially to see the kids reactions to seeing some of their favorite characters.
It's personally my favorite sit down in Epcot for food also. The steak with chimichurri is always a hit for my group!
So let's talk Disney World's All Star Sports Resort.
It is honestly one of my favorite value resorts.
What I love about it was how it felt so small, I didn't feel like I had to walk far to get to the lobby or the bus stop.
Last minute disney world trip to the Festival of the Arts!
The food we tried was great! My personal favorite was the mushroom risotto....I'll be dreaming of it for years now.
I know it's a hot topic for people if it's worth taking the kids when they're little and to me it is! Yes they won't remember it, but the memories I made watching my daughter enjoy one of my favorite places is something I'll cherish forever!
Royal Caribbean is currently offering Kids Sail Free so now is a great time to book if you have kids!
If you're like me and you cannot sleep well when it's hot these fans are great to bring on a cruise.
Sometimes the staterooms are hot and these fans move a lot of air! They come in a small box that's easy to put in your bag.
