Happy New Year!! One of my goals for 2023 is to be more active on my travel agent account. What better way to kick it off than a trip to the Happiest Place on Earth? We’re heading to Orlando to *run* around Disney World, ride the newly reopened Magic Kingdom Train, and to say goodbye to Splash Mountain before it closes at the end of the month. Can’t wait to see if little miss loves the princesses as much as she did on our trip a few months ago. Follow along with us!

👑 Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique will be reopening August 25th and Magic Kingdom and Disneyland!

This experience transforms 3-12 year olds from head to toe with hairstyling, makeup, costumes, and accessories. Reservations for these two locations may be made starting in August. Disney Springs and Grand Floridian reopening dates TBD. 👑

🧳 What is a Walt Disney World 'package?' A package includes your resort stay and park tickets. We can also add on things like Memory Maker (unlimited photo downloads) and rental cars. Each package requires only a $200 deposit at the time of booking. This deposit is 100% refundable up until 30 days before check in when your balance is due. So if you are even considering taking a Disney vacation this year or next, I always suggest getting a deposit on a package ASAP! As always, all my services are 100% free to you. 🚕Watch out roads, Minnie Vans are coming back June 29th! Minnie Vans are like Lyfts but with Disney Cast Members as drivers. They are always clean, have car seats available, play Disney tunes, and have amazing drivers who can share all kinds of tips and tricks for the parks. You can reserve one right through the Lyft app to take you from location to location around Disney World or to the Orlando airport. We are very excited this service is back- it is definitely 5⭐️

💐Springtime at Epcot is one of my very favorites. The Flower and Garden Festival runs from March to July. There are booths all around World Showcase with specialty food and drinks to enjoy. The very best part of the festival is walking around enjoying all the flowers and topiaries COVERING the park. It is just plain beautiful!

🦒We stayed at Animal Kingdom Lodge for this quick little visit. It was so fun to wake up and look out on our balcony at the animals on the Savanna! Our favorites to watch were the giraffes, zebras, and silly ostrich.
Our room was very spacious and comfortable with beautiful African theming. The cast members at this resort were incredible and really went out of their way to make our stay magical.
This resort also has some awesome dining options (hello, Sanaa bread service! 🤤) and fun pools.
If you’ve got little ones who love animals (or are an animal lover yourself), this could be a really special resort for you!

👶🏼 Just got home from our daughter’s first trip to the Mouse House! We went to visit some family in Florida and went by Disney World for a few days. Wow- Disney is a lot more magical (and a lot more tiring) with little ones. I am already working on a guide to navigating the parks and packing for Disney with a baby for all my future and return clients. Boy, did we learn a lot in a few short, wonderful days!

The Guardians of the Galaxy rollercoaster opens on May 27th at Epcot in Walt Disney World! This ride is called “Cosmic Rewind” because it will feature a backwards launch. We cannot wait to experience this one!

Festival of Fantasy has official returned to Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World! This daily parade is a must-see. It’s a great time for the whole family to see lots of characters, princesses, amazing costumes, and incredible performers! Showtimes can be found in the Disney World app.

Disney just announced that the new Genie services will launch at both Disney World and Disneyland on October 19th!

With this launch comes 3 new services- Genie, Genie+, and a la carte Lightning Lane options.

The services have some great aspects that I am really looking forward to for both me and my clients. Travel Agents have received a lot of information on the ins and outs, and I will be attending additional training on the system in the next couple of days. Feel free to ask me anything! To my clients with currently booked vacations, be on the lookout in the next week or two for some information from me.

Disney just announced that the boarding pass program for Rise of the Resistance will be put on pause as of September 23rd, and a standard standby queue will be used in its place.
What does this mean for you? If you want to ride RoR, you can walk up and hop in line!
I have suspicions that this change is in preparation for the Genie + and Lightning Lane programs that may be starting sooner than we think. 🤔

🎫 Walt Disney World just announced that they will be resuming sales on Annual Passes starting September 8th. Passes will range from $399+tax to $1299+tax depending on if you are a Florida resident, DVC member, or not. Passes will still include standard parking at the parks and discounts on merchandise and select dining locations. Memory maker is no longer included, but can be added on for $99 a year.

🧞‍♂️ Disney gave us SO much info yesterday regarding the new Genie, Genie+, and Lightening Lanes coming to Disney World this fall!

The Genie service will be a free service coming to your phones that will help you plan out your day in the parks with intuitive ride and dining suggestions based on algorithms predicting wait times. This is pretty cool tech!

Genie+ will be an additional charge of $15 per person per day at WDW or $20 per person per day at Disneyland. It will include access to the Lightning Lane (previously FastPass Lane) for over 40 attractions. You will be able to make your selections starting at 7 am for one attraction at a time. Genie+ will also include some special AR overlays within the app.

Lightning Lane is the extra entrance to each attraction that ensures less wait times. With Genie+ you can access this lane to skip the lines on many major attractions. Lightning Lane will also be accessible for some of the most popular attractions (Seven Dwarves Mine Train, Rise of the Resistance, etc) through a pay per ride system you can utilize with our without buying into Genie+. (Note: boarding passes will still be available for free for RoR on a first come first serve basis).

WOW! So much to unpack here! Travel agents are invited to attend a webinar hosted by Disney this Friday, and even more details will come out over the next couple months. Looking forward to getting all the details so that I can support my clients in creating the most magical vacation ever! 🧞‍♂️

❄️ Woke up bright and early this morning to book Very Merry After Hours event tickets for some clients on release day! I can’t wait for them to experience the snow flurries on Main Street and clip clop of the toy soldiers marching in the parade. ❄️

One of the biggest advantages of booking Disney with a travel agent is that they are the ones waking up early to book things and hanging out on hold to make adjustments for your vacation so that you don’t have to!

Only 130 days until Christmas! 🎄

🎄Disney just gave us all the merry details for the “Disney Very Merriest After Hours” event that will be taking place on select nights from November 8-December 21st! This event will feature a Christmas firework show, the MAGICAL ‘Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade” (Toy Soldiers and Santa? Yes please!), snow on Main Street, access to 20 rides and attractions with super short wait times, unlimited ice cream/popcorn/bottled beverages, speciality holiday food and drinks, photopass holiday magic shots, and a Jingle Cruise overlay on the Jungle Cruise ride!!!! (😅 phew… that was a lot!). The actual party takes place from 9pm to 1am, but your ticket gets you into Magic Kingdom starting at 7pm, so you will be able to catch not one but TWO firework shows- “Disney Enchantment” AND “Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks!”
Tickets go on sale August 17th for resort guests and August 20th for the general public, and prices vary from $169-$249 per person depending on the date.

😷 Disney just announced that starting Friday, July 30th, masks will once again be required for everyone while indoors at Disney World regardless of vaccination status. This includes while inside restaurants, resorts, enclosed transportation, and while experiencing indoor attractions. This change comes as a result of the CDC’s updated recommendations due to the COVID-19 Delta variant. 😷

🚢 Cruising is officially BACK! Disney announced that the first sailing from the U.S. will leave in just a couple of weeks! They also announced all COVID protocols they are taking to keep the ship virus-free, including testing procedures. I can’t wait to get on one of those ships! 🚢

😭 Disney announced today that the Happily Ever After firework show will be ending September 29th in preparation for the 50th anniversary show, and then NEVER COMING BACK. 😭 While we’re over here mourning the loss of our favorite firework show ever, let us know your thoughts on this announcement!

🇺🇸 Imagineers are putting the final touches on the update for the Hall of Presidents. This Magic Kingdom attraction features some amazing animatronics of the current and past presidents. It is also the perfect place to relax, get off your feet, do a little learning, and enjoy the air conditioning. Look out for its reopening in August!
