I realize I haven’t posted much out here in a very long time. It’s been extremely hard to know what to do in regards to making travel plans for my clients. I have chosen to not book travel, until things hopefully and eventually settle down with Covid. I am currently helping all current and past clients with cancellations and Travel Bank credits. I just don’t want to see my clients booking new trips internationally and have to make the tough decisions that we have had to make with cancellations due to Covid the past several months. It’s been so difficult to watch my clients have to cancel several trips since the gravity and situation surrounding Covid and travel is constantly evolving day to day. My personal opinion is that it is not worth the risk to book a trip right now and potentially have to cancel and lose money or risk lives. If you book a trip and would need to cancel, you will lose your travel insurance amount that you paid towards your reservation, but often times you can get a refund or a credit in a travel bank for the amount you paid minus travel insurance to use by December 15, 2021.
***However if you use an online booking site like Expedia, you are risking not getting any refund at all if the need to cancel a reservation arises even with insurance, especially if it is due to Covid. And for the the love of God, if you want to book a trip yourself, it’s okay, but ALWAYS PURCHASE TRAVEL INSURANCE AND READ THE FINE PRINT!
If you would like me to look at something you find before you book something yourself, send it to me! I’m here and willing to help you, so that you don’t make a costly mistake when booking travel! I do think it is okay to travel in the USA, but you still need travel insurance! Again read the fine print. Cancellations due to Covid are not covered reasons to cancel as pandemics are not covered reasons to cancel. Only the bigger reputable suppliers will work with you on this and those are the ones I have a good working relationship with which is why you should use a travel agent!
This will get better someday and I will be here then and I will be back to booking travel hopefully sooner than later and traveling the world myself! Until then please hear what I am saying to you! 😀

This is absolutely my most favorite picture that I have ever taken in all the times I have traveled. As I look at it tonight, I know that the Coronavirus will eventually be a distant memory and we will sail right back into our normal lives when this nightmare has passed! Hopefully we will learn from this and come out even stronger and I pray we do things better for the sake of our world. I love to travel and I love helping people fulfill their dreams of traveling and making life long memories but not at the sake of their safety or health! Once this darkness passes, we will be traveling the world and enjoying the beautiful sunsets that God has created for us to enjoy. I know I can’t wait! It’s okay to dream! When this passes I will be here to help you take the trip of your dreams, because we are all going to need to Escape! Enjoy this beautiful sunset!

I can't even begin to imagine how unsure, how helpless, how stressed a traveler without a travel agent must be feeling these days. Granted, there may or may not be a lot that we can do, but to know that you're not alone, that someone has your back, that someone aside from yourself is trying to work and fight and understand on your behalf, is reassuring and helps relieve some of the stress.

You don't handle illness alone. You don't handle lawsuits alone. You get help with things that can be overwhelming and unpredictable. Travel can absolutely be one of those things, as our current conditions show. And, who could have predicted this outbreak? Which is exactly why you need insurance and help! I don't care if you're in your 20s and have no kids and no assets - you still need it!

"You don't need travel insurance! You don't need an agent! Not with the internet at your disposal!" Those same people are the same people paddling up that famous creek without a paddle right now! They're rudderless and have no one to turn to. Try calling one of your precious online travel agencies today and see how they respond. I may have my hands tied, but I'm here, alongside my clients, nearly as concerned as they are themselves.
