A Livingstone Eland Bull. So... you have 4 different Eland subspecies - north to south you have Giant / Lord Derby Eland, Pattersons, livingstone, and Cape (I imagine they all can iterbreed w viable offspring - to my knowledge the Giant Eland mixbreeding with the others hasn't been put to this test due to geographic boundries). The others can and do mix. Basically the Giant Eland is huge and in a difficult part of the contenent. The Livingstones and The Patterns look similar with the Livingston being larger in body and widely distributed. The Cape Eland has no stripes and is the furthest down the contient of Africa.

Spring time is a good time to get in some fishing! Calm water and best friends resulted in 1 tuna (consumed) and 6 sailfish (released).
On to turkey hunting...also good in the spring!

The guy in the sweater is the cook...no idea why I stole him from camp that day. Probably moving from fly camp back to the main camp. Regardless of why, he has been on my truck twice this year and we shot something both times!
