We went on a ladies trip and stayed at the Serenity House. Rebekka our host, was most gracious and welcoming and our stay was very comfortable. The house is beautifully decorated, sort of takes you back in time. Breakfast menu was delicious every morning. We took two tours with Tours of the Gila and Rebekka as our tour guide and I thoroughly enjoyed the monastery one. Rebekka's knowledge of the whole area of Silver City is amazing and I certainly look forward to another getaway at the Serenity House.

We stayed at the Serenity House for 3 nights and so enjoyed every minute there. We had the upstairs suite which was a great size. The bed was so comfortable, the home so clean and welcoming and the breakfasts were fabulous! Rebekka is a joy to be around. She is positive, has a great deal of energy, she is excited to share her knowledge of the area and she arranges the most special tours with Tours of the Gila, which are so personalized to the guests' interests. We went to a monastery outside Silver City. Rebecca knows many of the monks at the monastery so she arranged for a personal tour!! It was the highlight of our trip. She also arranged for us to meet someone who is a friend of hers. We were sad that we ran out of time but we will be sure to meet him the next time we stay at Serenity House. He apparently has an amazing personal, museum quality collection of Native American artifacts and Western art items. No other tour guide could offer this! Rebekka is well connected and has so many friends that she offers so much to the guests.
